Stayed for 5 nights as a Couple and child at the top floor suite tent room in February 2022 straight after the Covid 19 travel ban was lifted. The Riad is beautiful, clean and decorated in the traditional Morrocan style. The entire staff team is super friendly, accommodating and provide exceptional service. They truly do put a lot of genuine effort and passion into serving the needs of their customers. The location is also very good right in the middle of old city with walking distances to various soukhs, shopping streets, restaurants, Jama El fanaa square and the Bahia Palace. The top floor tent room is probably the biggest room in Riad accommodating a king size double bed and a single bed for kids. The room was clean and spacious with a fridge and decent size wardrobe. The tent had a separate area partitioned off by a curtain to accommodate a bath tub and a toilet. The roof top terrace is right out side the room with sun loungers and a good size jacuzzi pool surrounded by various cactus plants. The area is well maintained and creates a relaxing environment right outside the tent suite. The breakfast is very good and is served on demand in whatever common area of the hotel you choose. The breakfast service is excellent and staff lay on different types of breakfast every day ranging from eggs, various kinds of pancakes, fruits, yogurts, cakes, jams, coffees and teas and off course the fresh Morrocan Orange juice. You can ask for whatever you need and the staff even prepared a special Morrocan egg tagine for breakfast one day when we wanted to try something different. So the breakfast is adequate, good quality and has some thing for every one. We had dinner at the Riad for our 10th anniversary and were pleasantly surprised. The staff made a lot of effort to prepare for the event and we were consulted on the menu choices and out likes and preferences. We pretty much designed our own menu with starters, salads, tagine of our choice, deserts and the staff executed it really well. Overall, we were really pleased with our stay at the Riad Melhoun and Spa. The staff went above and beyond to look after us. Thank you.

Lovely little Riad at the Medina in Marrakesh. The highlight by a country mile was the service provided by the staff - superb people who truly care for the guests. Such warmth and hospitality! Our best wishes to them all. Jamal, Ahlem, Nour, Mohammad, the lady Chef…please reciprocate by tipping them well. The room we are in disappointed, however. It was a tiny enclave in a corner and barely fit two - very tight, though clean, but for the bath linen which was old and frayed. Spent three nights in a cramped space, with an AC that struggled. Intimidating set of warnings to guests affixed to the bathroom door (including one about management reserving the right to take action against certain social media posts). Brought the cramped nature of the room to the notice of staff, however, they pleaded helplessness as the Riad was full. Our tour operator, though compensated by arranging a nice dinner for wife and myself at the Riad itself. Stunning table set up by the pool in the courtyard - again, the staff outdid themselves! Very nice place to stay in Marrakesh, provided you secure a room other than the tiny corner ones. Breakfast overseen by Ahlem was superb - she was such a pleasure to interact with, the food was exquisite and ample! Met the owner family too during our stay - lovely folks! We hope to return to Marrakesh and stay at Riad Melhoun again!

If I could give more stars I would! Our stay at Riad Melhoun was beyond amazing. From the beauty of the Riad, to the amazing staff that would go above and beyond every day to make sure that you had the best experience while staying with them. The Riad is breathtaking, our suite was spacious, and our bed was really comfortable. We loved the rooftop terrace. Every morning we would start the day with breakfast on the rooftop. Another big positive of Riad Melhoun is its location. Its an easy walk to both the Bahia & the Badi Palaces, as well as Jemaa el-Fna markets. Its an easy walk to all of these, without being in the middle of it. Its located in a much quieter area, which we loved.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Riad Melhoun & Spa for two nights and were blown away by the place! Not only was the accommodation perfect (from the decor to the commodities) but the staff was also so friendly and helpful, they really made us feel at home.

The Riad offers quite a lot of experiences and extra services that you can book directly through them. Personally, we tried the couples massage, which was very relaxing, and a wonderful Moroccan dinner which you have to try at least once! We also booked a taxi to the airport because we were leaving very early in the morning. This was a bit on the pricey side (€19) but it saves you the stress of having to bargain for a good deal. If you're not in a hurry to the airport, you can also get the local bus not far from the Riad, which is very cheap (approx.€3).

The location of the Riad Is very convenient, probably one of the best aapects, and you can reach all of Marrakech's top sights by foot. When you first arrive though, I recommend checking a map or asking someone from the Riad to pick you up (at their pickup point) as you might otherwise get a bit lost. There are some locals who will offer to help and then ask for money so it's not worth getting in any unnecessarily uncomfortable situations. Not to worry though, once you locate the Riad for the first time, it's super easy to find again!

Overall, we would definitely recommend staying here for at least a few nights. The staff is wonderful and they will not hesitate to give recommendations for your trip. The rooms and the Riad in general are really beautiful, one of the best...

What a magical place! 💫 I can’t say enough good things about Riad Melhoun and Spa.

To begin with, the people that work here are incredible. The most hospitable people I’ve ever met (and I travel frequently). Muhamed, Noor, Ahmed, Rashid and all the rest of the team will make you feel like you are at home with family. They are such caring individuals and a true pleasure to be around.

The staff treated us with such attention and care. My boyfriend and I got engaged here l, and he truly couldn’t have picked a better place to share such a beautiful moment 💕

The whole team went out of their way to help him plan the moment and I was happy and moved beyond words. I will never forget it and am so happy we got to share it with the staff at Riad Melhoun.

Aside from having the happiest moment of our lives in this beautiful Riad, we loved the place itself. It felt like home. The delicious dinners they prepared, the care with which they set the tables, and the cleanliness of the riad was just wonderful. We felt welcomed, taken care of, and so happy to have found such a magical place.

The staff were incredibly helpful in planning our outings around the city. We wanted a tuk tuk, they got it, we needed a ride somewhere, they got it, my boyfriend wanted flowers for me, they found them. Honestly, 5 stars is not enough for this riad.

We feel so blessed to have found this place and to have shared moments with the staff. We can’t wait to return!!!!!!!!

If you’re in Marrakech, do yourself a favor and make some memories at Riad Melhoun. It’s a truly incredible place and worth...
