Riad Dar Yassine - me and my husband stayed here for 5 days, and we highly recommend this Riad the brothers who work there are so respectful, hospitable, kind and generous people. They allude kindness and gentleness. When we arrived they met us at the door. Offered us tea and gave us the traditional morrocan warm welcoming. The location was perfect, 15mins walk away from koutobia etc and if you book excursions they can easily pick pin up from the down the road, 3min walk to the main road. The rooms were cosy, clean and cute. Breakfast was great and the service I cannot fault. The team here went out of their way to make us feel safe comfortable and looked after. They did our laundry for free and even woke up earlier to make sure we had breakfast before going to our early morning excursions which fell out of the normal breakfast timings. It genuinely felt like a home away from home, and as one of the brothers said to us, this is your home we truly know they meant it! We were sceptical about the reviews but they are all true. We will definitely coming back maybe with our family and again would recommend this place to everyone!
Also note the toilet doesn't have a door, in the room and you do have to pay city tax on top of the booking costs. We were more than happy to pay it!
Again amazing riad!
Thank you to the everyone at Riad Dar Yassine, for your hospitality, kindness...
Read moreWe stayed in a superior double room with breakfast included.||||We were looked after throughout our stay by two of the most polite, helpful young men. We were always asked if we needed anything and they truly meant it. ||||Transfer - we booked the transfer to and from the airport via the hotel. It isn't much more money and I was pleased we did. When we got there the car can't park directly outside, but someone from the hotel was there waiting for us to show us the way. We were then given a warm welcome with mint tea and biscuits.||||Breakfast - a lovely selection brought to the table every day and we were always asked if we wanted anything else - but we were always full. It is slightly varied every day but similar. However, as we were there 5 nights there was enough variety. It included a pastry, cake, bread, fruit / yogurt and other items.||||Rooms very clean.||||No safe in the room but you can lock the wardrobe. However, as everyone has to knock on the door to get in the riad, you know there are only guests and staff in there so it feels very safe / secure.||||I would highly recommend this riad for location and...
Read moreIt was my first time in Marracash and I really enjoyed it !!. Because I loved my experience in this beautiful Riad. The room was clean and organized. They welcomed us with beautiful decorations with towels swans, and a room filled with rose petals. At the room we had everything we needed. The breakfast at the Riad was very nice, traditional and delicious. The location is perfect, because it's easy to go walking to the medina downtown. But at the same time It's very quiet outside of the noise, great for relaxing. The owners are a beautiful family, very kind and friendly. They help us with everything. At the end of the trip we ask them where to buy for the delicious peanut cream that they give us every morning, because we really enjoyed it. Before leaving, one of the owners gave us as a present a bottle of peanut butter made with Argan oil. It was a beautiful surprise!!! At the Riad we booked one of the best experiences we ever had for the Agafay desert. In conclusion, I really recommend you to book at this Riad, you will have a lovely...
