We had a truly wonderful stay at Riad Marina during our trip to Morocco. From the moment we arrived, the hosts Belinda and Abdul made sure we were well looked after. They were incredibly attentive, and no request was too much for them.
We were celebrating our anniversary during the trip, and they went above and beyond to make it special — decorating our room beautifully with rose petals and a fruit platter, and even arranging a last-minute dinner reservation for us. Belinda was so thoughtful that she let the restaurant know it was our anniversary too!
The communal area with the pool became our favorite spot to relax. On our anniversary morning, Belinda along with Abdul and Samira also prepared a lovely breakfast for us by the pool, again with rose petals — such a beautiful and personal touch.
Breakfast was simple but very fresh, with everything made in-house, including the jam. If you’re looking for a luxurious hotel-style breakfast, this might feel basic, but if you appreciate homemade quality, you’ll love it.
The overall vibe of the Riad is cozy and homey rather than hotel-like, so if you’re after something polished and formal, this might not be your fit. But if you want a warm, comfortable space where you feel truly taken care of, this is perfect.
Even though we arrived earlier than check-in time, we were welcomed warmly and could leave our luggage with no problem.
A true highlight of our stay was the Hammam with Rashida — hands down the best Hammam experience I’ve ever had. She is so skilled and experienced, it was unforgettable. I am definitely coming back just for this.
We also had dinner at the Riad cooked by Samira, and it was delicious. It was a little on the pricey side compared to street food options, but the quality and flavors made it worthwhile.
Overall, Riad Marina felt like a home away from home — thanks to the incredible team who genuinely care about their guests. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a personal and cozy...
Read moreBeautiful place to stay has a lot of potential. Location is brilliant, a 5 min walk through the bazaar to the Jemaa el fnaa Square. On arrival we were treated with with a moroccan tea, had to wait for a few hours for room to be prepared. Was not the room on balcony we booked but a ground floor room. Rooms were OK...a bit dark needed to leave doors open to get some fresh air in...not sure how this would be on a very hot day....slightly musty smell Breakfast was nice but very limited a yoghurt drink, orange juice and coffee with small pancake with butter and jam, leaving my husband still hungry. The next day another guest who did not like pancake was given a scrambled egg so husband asked for that the next day with the pancake. Evening meal was at 8pm..a tagine which was delicious and very authentic....would be nice if it came with couscous but comes with bread and salad which i was fine with me but no desserts. Abdul and Fatima were very friendly when we did see them. Had a hammam not far from hotel which cost £40 was a very good one recommended by fatima. Booked other excursion ourselves as too expensive when booking from at riad. Overall lovely place just needs a bit of sorting out very homely...
Read moreThis was my first visit to Marrakech with my family. The riad is an exceptional place. The location is close to lots of places to visit. We received a first class service and we were warmly welcomed by Fatima and Abdou. The advice and care that we received made our stay so nice. We had a homemade breakfast prepared for us while we were there. This definitely got us ready for the day and was so delicious. There is WiFi aswell. Tap water is not offered there but bottle water is available, especially if planning to go out all day so bear this in mind. Many of the food places will only offer bottle water aswell. There are many food places to visit at various prices. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and had Aircon. To note, to get to the riad, the airport transfer taxi dropped us at a taxi rank. So please have your Google maps ready for the 10 mins walk to the riad. There are also 2 palm trees in drums near the entrance. I thoroughly recommend this place. Thank you...
