Hotel Holy Temple Tree Pvt. Ltd. — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

Actually we booked a room in Avalon house, on arrival we were put into hhtt because apparently the rooms were out (owner is the same). Hhtt has by our experience the same price as Avalon house, the rooms are way worse though (we had a peak on the rooms in Avalon house because breakfast is served there). The floors are dirty, hot water was barely working (at least water was not ice cold) and in general except the beds nothing was really clean there. The bathroom we got was super tiny (that is not true for all rooms, you have to get lucky or at least not unlucky) and dirty as well. Toilet was OK, shower - as mentioned - rather cold. If you wanted to plug in devices the plugs had to be held in certified positions for it to work. The view from our room was nice, what again is not true for all rooms. Breakfast in Avalon house was OK, it consisted of two eggs (scrambled, omelet or fried), tea or coffee a nen two toasts. The staff was friendly and especially the owner...

We stayed 2night same room and third night we went again we asked receptionist for same room he said its open but his manager sleeping for few hours .then after few hours manager came to reception then i asked 'i know you are slept there so can do house keeping and bed sheets change 'then he said no we don't change bed sheets every day so please don't go there guys...they just...

It is not in a good condition. No hot water facility during winter, had to take shower in a chilled cold water. TV is not functioning. Don't have any good food option available. Only the good part is its location in Thamel. Staff was helpful though. Would suggest to go for a better option if your budget allows. Yes, this is a lodge and not a hotel....
