2025 Review Edit Best place for Hookah Food and drinks are incosistant, can never expect the same quality or quantity. Amazing place, great for a date night, birthday celebrations and good mediterainian food. Hope they carry on keeping up with the consistency of food and drinks.

2024 I have visited Mazaaj several times in the past and used to really enjoy their Chicken Mandi, which is why I chose it as the venue for a friend's birthday celebration. However, my recent experience was highly disappointing.

Food: Chicken Mandi: Once a favorite, the quality and quantity have significantly declined. The dish, which was previously a standout, no longer meets expectations.

Overall Food Quality: The general quality of the food has gone downhill. Despite spending around 43,000, the food did not live up to expectations at all. Moreover, the prices have increased, making it feel overpriced for what is offered.

Service: The service remains good, with attentive and friendly staff. This aspect has been consistent with previous visits.

Atmosphere: Crowd: There were noticeably fewer people than on previous visits. While the vibe was still fun and lively, the reduced crowd on a Saturday night was telling.

Ambience: The atmosphere remains enjoyable, but the decline in food quality overshadows this positive aspect.

Overall Experience: Future Visits: Given the recent experience, I will not be returning to Mazaaj, especially for special events. The disappointing food quality and quantity, coupled with high prices, make it a poor choice despite the good service and enjoyable atmosphere.

Advice to Mazaaj: It's crucial to improve the kitchen's performance. If the quality of food continues to decline, it will drive away loyal customers, which may explain the reduced crowd observed during my last visit.

Both good and bad experience in my first visit. As soon as we entered, a waiter asked where would we like to be seated and gave few options on inner and outer area. We preferred to seat at the western outer section to experience the sunset. The menu was filled with lots of food and drinks options. From coffees to grills to mezzes to bar to mocktails. As this was my first time I asked waiter for help. He suggested a platter and then a rice dish if we were into it. We ordered both. I expected the food to be slightly delayed so I asked him if there was anything we could get quickly before our orders arrived. He said the drinks will not take time so we could pick something from sides. I asked for Zucchini Chips but he said that it would take time to fry it so he suggested Zattar Fries. Fries were first to arrive. Then came drinks. Zattar fries were really good. Within short period our platter and rice dish arrived too. Service was fast for friday evening with lots of packed tables. The platter had lots of Zattar fries in it too. We felt like he could have warned us not to order fries as a quick snack. But it was good. We tried platter second. It was oddly stacked. The grilled food were good. The rice dish - Chicken mandi looked like a biryani but it tasted uniquely different. Lots of rice with one thigh piece. Among few things we ate and drank. Mazaaj special mocktail was best . It was very refreshing. We even ordered another glass of it. We really enjoyed food, drinks and the ambience. Then came the bad experience. After sitting at same place for over an hour, we got up to go restroom. We realised our back and bottoms felt damp. The place where we'd been seated must had a rainfall earlier and the cushions might have absorbed water.
