Decent enough...

...higher floors are better due to street noise. Horns, dogs, some guy hammering on a gate and hollering for Jamal(?) at 3am... ..mostly ok though, nice garden terrace with fish and decent coffee. Staff good, guy serving coffee and running restaurant very friendly. Loves talking about football. Decent atmosphere.

Stayed several times now and would come back again no problems. Located just outside the main part of Thamel it's perfect for your time in Kathmandu, about 2mins walk to the main tourist areas and 10mins to the bus stop for tourist bus to Pokhara, etc.

Water takes a while to get "hot" but does eventually get warm enough, bed were comfortable enough. The small set of rooms to the left of the courtyard can feel a little damp sometimes but nothing too bad, just not a lot of air motion in there under the covering.

Restaurant is PHENOMENAL 😍 Paneer chili, Thai tofu, cheese balls…..everything is notably fresh, tasty, and elevated despite what appears as a modest hotel. And a decent bar to boot! Inside, my room was clean and spacious with an excellent view of the neighborhood. Located in a great spot in Thamel. WiFi was solid and they were able to provide laundry service, which proved useful after a week of trekking. This is a great mid-range hotel. All of the staff have been warm and efficient from the housekeeping team to the restaurant staff to the security guards. Most of the things are good but few things almost ruined the stay. They really need to pay attention to some details. First there was no telephone in room to communicate with hotel staffs, second WiFi wasn’t working for a whole day even after complaining 4 times, third they have a policy which is you can’t eat or drink in room!! I understand it’s a hotel policy but people come there from very far and tired traveling, not all the time we wanna go down changing cloths just to have food! we slept without having dinner on our first day. I gotta say all staffs were polite and nice. But some staff need training and it’s not their fault since everyone has to start somewhere and it’s management’s responsibilities to look after...
