I am sure all the good reviews here are due to the manager pressuring people to leave a good review. He sat us down and wanted me to write a good review in front of him when we hadn't even finished our stay yet. He wanted to watch me type it out. I am assertive and didn't do it, but I am sure others would give in to the pressure. No toilet paper in our room when we arrived. No water in our room when we arrived. 1 towel provided for a double room. When asked for another, we never got it. TV broken. TV repair person came, left, and then received no update. Power card didn't work. Went to reception to advise the room power was dropping out and they gave us a new card to put in. Clearly it's a common problem as it appeared to be a regular fix. Why not just give us the card to begin with?? Shower cold. No hot water the whole stay. Toilet didn't flush. Very embarrassing to advise the reception, then nothing was done about it. Unable to use the bathroom for our remaining last morning. Had to use reception bathroom as replacement. No toilet paper in either the men's or women's. Manager was extremely overbearing, pressuring us to leave a good review. Even after all of our problems he asked and pressured so many times for a good review. Intercepting us at every pass through reception. Felt uncomfortable the whole time. Overall, a terrible experience. stay somewhere else for the same price and...
Read moreI recently stayed at a hotel and had a truly memorable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff provided exceptional service, making me feel welcomed and valued. The check-in process was swift and efficient, with the concierge offering helpful information about local attractions and dining options.
The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and elegantly decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The amenities, including the high-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, and complimentary toiletries, added to the convenience and comfort of my stay. The view from the room, overlooking the harbor, was breathtaking and provided a serene backdrop throughout my visit.
Dining at the hotel's restaurant was a highlight. The menu offered a variety of delicious, expertly prepared dishes, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. The breakfast buffet featured a wide selection of fresh and tasty options, catering to all dietary preferences.
The hotel's location is another strong point. Situated within walking distance of major attractions, shops, and public transportation, it made exploring the city hassle-free.
Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and...
Read moreIf I have the chance, I would stay at this hotel again. Most of the staff are very kind and genuinely care about their guests. Receptionist Binod is very nice always with a smile, and he even taught me to speak Nepali.
On the first morning, I overslept, and to my surprise, the restaurant staff called to remind me about breakfast. Their warm and thoughtful attitude made me feel cared for, which is especially important when traveling alone. The breakfast menu changes daily, and I truly enjoyed having breakfast here. Every morning, I would order a cup of Masala Tea.
When I returned to my room at night,I would always find two bottles of water placed at the door—a small but thoughtful detail in their service.
The hotel has an elevator, making it a great choice for those who prefer not to carry their luggage up the stairs.
The location is very convenient, surrounded by restaurants and small shops. There are also many stores selling hiking gear.
The room was generally clean, and I slept well every night. There was a slight odor in the bathroom, but I believe this is common in this area of Nepal. The hot water takes some time to heat up—I only realized this on my...
