Hotel Lake Journey — Hotel in Pokhara

Please try to avoid the property if you can. The owners think they are doing a favor to us by renting out the property. Most of the information provided about the hotel is not true. The staff cannot speak English and dont even provide tea in the morning. Moreover I had the worst experience of the lifetime. Please look for alternate accommodation in the Lakeside vicinity; there are lots of them which provides far better service for the same price.||||I had two bookings in the hotel, as I planned to stay for initial 2 days and then another 3 more days after coming back from Jhomsom. I had reminded the same to the hotel staff but when I arrived back from Jhomsom, they informed me that the hotel is fully booked! I was shocked to get such a casual response from his side, saying that he forgot that I had a reservation here.||The couple who runs the hotel should do something else which they are good at since they are not fit for this business. If you are looking for a accommodation in Pokhara, there are lots of them around lakeside with competitive rates. Please dont fall in the trap...

We arrived at the hotel late on the evening with the intention to go on the Poon Hill trek the next morning. We did not plan for anything but Suraj at the reception went the extra mile to arrange everything for us. He asked a guide to come over and meet us and he also arranged to have our permits made the first thing in the morning. So we went to Poon Hill the next morning without hassle. The guide they recommended (Lil) has been one of the nicest persons I ever met so I really recommend his services if you plan to do this trek.||As for the hotel itself it's very clean. I think it might be a quite new hotel. Rooms are spacious with 2 beds, fridge, hairdryer and balcony with lake view.|We only stayed there for 1 night but the stuff and the hotel owner treated us like family. ||While on trekking they kept our luggages at the hotel for free and they booked us a night bus to Kathmandu.
