Mum's Garden Resort — Hotel in Pokhara

The owners of this establishment are defrauding guests with claims of facilities that they do not have and don't care to provide. Their advertisement on all online booking platforms including booking.com, makemytrip, expedia etc. claim to provide air-conditioning and power back up in all rooms, based on which we'd made our bookings. Upon check in we are told that there is no provision of air-conditioning since it is an 'eco-resort'. We are here right now and it is blazing hot till sunset, and continues being moderately hot with high humidity all through the night. Leave aside the lack of air-conditioning, during power outage the Resort does not provide power back up as advertised. Only one light in the room is made available, but no back up for a fan despite the heat and humidity. When asked, they have been stalling with various excuses and advising us to wait till power is restored. It is very evident that they are intentionally misleading and denying guests the promised facilities. The room itself is bare and basic (e.g. some plug points and lamps don't work, toiletries not provided). Staff and owner are dismissive. Not worth the price...

I have come to Pokhara many times and FINALLY i find a little corner of paradise here in mum's garden resort. The location is close to the center yet far enough from the noise an confusion. It is surrounded by green trees and one does not feel like being in a city. The rooms are great with large windows a lovely terrace and very clean. The bed comfortable and with many pillows 😊 the bathroom has a bath tub and is clean. The buildings are done with local stones and local character. Deepak the owner is affable, welcoming and goes out of his way to help....

It felt amazing to have found such a serene and winsome resort at the centre of the city. Hotel stays are very helpful and friendly. The rooms gives you very jolly ambience and the spacious garden is just exuberance. If you are really trying to escape the busy cit while not being very far from it, this is for you||I strongly recommend this place if you are really looking wholesome experience in Nepal. This hotel will always be my first choice next...
