We did the 6 day trek to Mardi Himal basecamp. From the moment we contacted ABC Treks, the communication was smooth and Ramesh fixed bus tickets for us from Kathmandu and picked us up in Pokhara. We met our guide, Keshab, a few moments later and he helped us rent the stuff we needed for our trek.

Our trekking team consisted of Keshab and his brother Asbin as porter. Throughout the trip they (most of all Keshab) always looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a lot of good conversations, card plays and some beers together in the evenings, and they told us about Nepali culture, the nature and the mountains. So much fun! Keshab even made us some awesome bamboo walking sticks 😁 Asbin made us fresh cut fruit every night. They are such great guys, and anyone who gets to know them should consider themselves lucky!

We were a bit unlucky with the weather, since we had a great deal of mist and fog, but the times we got good views, it was breathtaking! The final ascent on day four was also spectacular, seeing many of the Annapurna mountains clearly. We also enjoyed that there was not so many people here on this trek. We kept meeting the same people at different camps which made this trek...

Our trek through Langtang Valley with ABC TREKS P.LTD was nothing short of magical. From the moment we were picked up at the airport by their friendly team, everything was seamless.
