In short, don’t think twice and call or come and sit down with Prakash, the most knowledgeable, reasonable and transparent travel agent in Pokhara! Possibly in Nepal! The details? I had dealt with disappointing agents for two months and came back from the ECB and the ABC to Pokhara, exhausted and wanting to be pampered in the following experiences. I was looking for:a reliable agent who’s feedback was spontaneous and knowledgeable. 1- I primarily needed a safe helicopter tour operator, who would book me on the earliest departure to the ABC as my last day hike toward the ABC was aborted by three avalanches. I wanted a heli that would leave on time, and an agent who would be conscious of weather conditions as i am a semi professional photographer. 2- Then I needed a morning birdwatching experience with a professional ornithologist, as I am a Veterinarian specialized in bird medicine. 3- Then I needed options of trips to the Upper Mustang via airplane to Jomson and 4x4 as far North as possible. 4- Finally, I wanted to spend a day touring Pokhara and its nearby lakes and temples All I can say is WOW!!! Prakash took me seriously and deployed his entire knowledge about these four intentions. I ended up booking projects 1 and 4 with him, abandoned 2 and 3 for timing reasons, yet was absolutely convinced that I was gettIng the best prices and most honest service, in fair comparison to three other agencies I had previously sat with.
