New Turkish & Nepali Kitchen Kabap House — Restaurant in Pokhara

I visited this restaurant recently to try their chicken momo and chicken mix thukpa. The food was okay, but the experience wasn’t pleasant. When I asked if chicken momo and chicken mix thukpa were available, the waiter first said it wasn’t, then went to check but still didn’t give a clear answer. Later, the male owner came and spoke quite rudely instead of helping. That really spoiled the experience. I hope they improve their communication and behaviour with customers as good service matters as much as good food. The only good part was the lady there. I tried the Chicken Doner Kebab. The portion size was huge with a lot of meat and greens. Looks like it is more specifically prepared for Europeans rather than Nepalis or Indians considering the level of masalas and spices. Had a side of chilli flakes and some kind of curd based sauce which was nice.

The staff was very kind. The atmosphere is quiet which is the way I like.

The food was freshly prepared & tasted good considering I have not seen any other Turkish/Greek based restaurant in Pokhara as of today.

This tiny shutter is the best place to grab a cheap, yet amazing lunch or dinner. The kabap is so good that this place has gotten very popular. So don't expect to pop in and out quickly. However it is totally worth the wait. The wraps are huge, and so good that as I write this I am thinking I may need to go back there for dinner tonight! It is always fresh and they do a good job of keeping it clean, even though they are a tiny "hole in the wall". The personality and character of this place is so fun.
