They initially behave very polite but never fall on their promise because they doesn't fulfill it, if you ask for to provide other rooms they were increase the cost, their rooms have a foul smell, lack of view, wifi is slow most of the time, they will add tax without telling you, their food is also costly, if you are going to pokhra with family then choose a bit expensive hotel dnt fall for these types of hotels, their beds are small for two person, not everyone is going for honeymoon so please dnt fall in their sweet words, they will last only till you start living in their rooms, they took our on the name of city tour with 15 places and we are in our rooms keep waiting like idiots that when will cab came and he is telling us that driver is not picking the call, and we are about to leave the hotel on 10 am and keep giving us excuses and we left for around 1:30 from the hotel and he said now we are not going for 15 now we will go for 9 place only, actually he played smartly because every day after 3 pm there is heavy rainfall in the pokhra, it happens daily and it will continue till 5 pm so at that particular time u can't go anywhere either you have to hide somewhere or stay in your vehicle, so make fool of us and selected a time so we can't travel all the destination, by 6 we reached fewa lake and we found that it is the closing time so had get back and we all are upset by the arrangement of the city tour provided by hotel owner, literally disgusting and that moron was still asking how was the tour, and we were like what to say just wanna slap him but he took our money first while booking the hotel so dnt ever relay on them, beware nepal is not so friendly...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel President in Lakeside, Pokhara, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience!
From the moment I arrived, the friendly staff welcomed me with warm smiles and a refreshing drink, setting the tone for my stay. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was pleased to find that my room was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. The stunning views of Phewa Lake from my balcony were simply breathtaking—a perfect way to start each day!
Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently situated near shops, cafes, and popular attractions, making it an ideal spot for exploring the vibrant Lakeside area. I particularly appreciated the quiet atmosphere of the hotel, which provided a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing.
The staff were attentive and eager to help with recommendations, ensuring I had a memorable stay. My only suggestion would be to extend the breakfast hours, as I found myself wishing for a little extra time to enjoy the delicious offerings.
Overall, I highly recommend Hotel President to anyone visiting Pokhara. The combination of excellent service, stunning views, and a prime location makes it a top choice for travelers. I can’t...
Read moreDo not stay here, they are liar's! It was the worst hostel/hotel experience we've had in Nepal, and we've been here for a while and slept in a lot of places. It started off with my partner looking for a place to stay and checking out a bunch of places. Here they gave him a decent price for a room with a double bed and a spare bed. When we came back to finlize the room they nearly doubled the price and only after about half an hour of them talking rudely to us we agreed on the original price as long as we stay two nights. Later they wouldn't give us toilet paper until I said that we'd leave here the next day if they wouldn't. Finally, they called our room the next day around noon and said that we have to move to a smaller room, we said we are not willing to move since we agreed with them on this room for two nights. The guy started raising his voice and said that we have to check out right that minute and leave the hostel. They are rude here, horrible service. Do yourself a favor and...
