Wood Pigeon Hotel — Hotel in Pokhara

Looking for a peaceful spot to spend a few days on lakeside I came across the Wood Pigeon and it looked perfect. The price was fine, and the room was very spacious. However it was not well maintained and for the first night I was without electricity, although I kept being told it would be 15-20 minutes until it is back. ||||For the next 2 nights it was fine, however on my final night, I came back at around 11:30pm and it was gated locked. I tried to call the number given to me 14 times and after 45 minutes I had to trudge around Pokhara at midnight looking for a bed. The next morning I explained this to the staff member and he just said 'Sorry about that'. No compensation or attempt to resolve...

They will charge you more than the agreement. The guy working on the reception was very rude and no customer service at all. No towels, soaps and lights in the restroom even if you have asked them again and again. The guy working on the reception will loot you as much as he could. We missed the view of sunshine because the main door was closed till 7 and had to wait for that stupid guy to wake up first.. very rude people working there. Wont...

Dont Ever trust on the staff. They can cheat you by telling you some other rate for the room and then while checking out they add some more taxes and all which is like noone taking in whole pokhara. Bad Service.. There was no Bulb on my Room while i was staying there and got lot of noise from the staff around. Cant get peacefully sleep here.. I would suggest dont ever go there.. Not Worth to paying high rates for bad services.....
