La Terrazza Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Centar

Went here four times whilst visiting Skopje, the best Italian for sure! The Penne Arrabiata was delicious and I ordered it every-time, the fresh bread is so good.

The last time I went however, I ordered the pasta as usual and it was unfortunately undercooked to the point that it was inedible, rock hard pasta with the dough still clear as day in the centre.

I asked the young male waiter if it could be cooked a little longer and he told me that it was supposed to be like that because that’s what Italian pasta is like, who knew? He done that without even seeing the pasta or trying it, bad representation of the brilliant food and service prior to this hence the four stars.

The service was a bit slow. I was with a friend, we waited a while for the manus, then when we ordered she got her pizza and I waited for my order for 15-20 minutes more. I believe that they should plan the cooking and serve the orders at the same time. My friend finished eating when I got mine. That's not ok. The waiter was nice. My njoki with four cheeses were delicious, and the cake I had was tasty. My friend didn't like the pizza, I didn't try it so I can't share my opinion about the pizza. Does a 4.5 rating on Google Maps predict good food? No, it doesn't. Carbonara is basically a simple dish to make, but perfect timing is everything. I had the worst pasta, as far as I can recall. It didn't have flavor and had raw, thick chunks of pork in it. What? Everyone with two hands can grate vegetables and put them on a plate and call it a mixed salad. A real chef uses imagination and brings an extra element to the plate. A wide variety of dishes is not a sign of a good restaurant. Opposite. No one can handle dozens of recipes in a cuisine.
