Cafe Bocata is a charming little cafe in Skopje that offers a cozy atmosphere and delicious food. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with a warm welcome from the staff and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.
The menu has a variety of options to choose from, including breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, and pastries. I had the pleasure of trying their famous Bocata sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the fillings were fresh and flavorful.
In addition to the food, the coffee is also a standout at Cafe Bocata. They offer a variety of espresso drinks, and I highly recommend trying their cappuccino or latte. The baristas take great care in crafting each drink, and you can taste the quality in every sip.
The ambiance of the cafe is cozy and welcoming, with comfortable seating and warm lighting. It's the perfect spot for catching up with friends or enjoying a peaceful afternoon alone with a good book.
Overall, I highly recommend Cafe Bocata for anyone looking for a great meal and a cozy atmosphere. The food and coffee are top-notch, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It's definitely worth a visit if...

The waitresses was even more rude than the manager, she said: here is your check and don't worry, you won't pay for the food where you APPARENTLY found hair in it. (the best of cynicism). And the change for the bill was all the coins they could find in the bar. That was annoying but not as annoying as not hearing a simple SORRY for giving us food with hair in it. blah, disgusting...

Had a good chat with manager at the end, we said we were impressed with the service, he explained that the waitress was a fairly new hire and that she had only recently begun learning English. Language barrier really didn't matter, she was able to convey a positive attitude with a smile, and appreciation any time we attempted to use our limited Macedonian.
We've had mixed experiences across the Slavic region with some good experiences in customer service, some less good. This was the best so far.
