Andes House Cusco — Hotel in Distrito de Cusco

The staff working here are really helpful and they do housekeeping everyday. The location is very good, reasonably flat roads for Cusco and the room was on ground floor away from road noise. The shower worked very well, great pressure and hot water. There is a shared kitchen where you can make food, tea/coffee, but no toaster. You can put your own supplies in the fridge etc.. My only concern was the inaccurate description of the room. The photo implies the room is much bigger and it states the double room has tea/coffee making equipment in the room. This is incorrect. There was also a noise from perhaps some kind of water pump during the night? I wasn't sure. Overall it was good value for multiple...

We stayed at Andes House in Cusco for 4 nights- November 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th/2024. Nice, cozy and comfortable stay with a crew of friendly and courteous staff. Rodrigo, Julio and Manuel were extremely friendly and always eager to lend a helping hand in any way they could. The facility is new and already gaining a good reputation. Location is close to the main square. At the end of a long day (after the tours!) when we returned to Andes House, the greetings and friendliness of the staff made Cusco an extra special visit for us. Keep up the good work, Rodrigo,...

Estivemos por quase uma semana, e foi a pior experiência possível. Toda vez que íamos tomar banho, o banheiro ALAGAVA, pois o ralo que fica fora da área de banho transbordava. Não há troca de toalhas, nem de lençóis - a não ser que você peça - correndo o risco de ser cobrado. A bomba d'água faz um barulho ensurdecedor, toda vez que alguém vai tomar banho. Os quartos são claros, e não há vedação acústica alguma, pois é possível ouvir tudo o que as pessoas falam no corredor, inclusive as faxineiras pela manhã. O serviço de limpeza deixa muito a desejar, nosso quarto estava empoeirado, cheio de bolos de cabelo em baixo da cama. Se você gosta de silêncio, aviso que há muito barulho de um bar próximo, que ultrapassa as 23h. Não há frigobar, ou cofre nos quartos. Não disponibilizam shampoo. Nos sentimos inseguros, pois a qualquer horário a porta do "hostel" fica aberta, permitindo com que qualquer pessoa entre. O pessoal da recepção não faz questão de ser simpático ou de tentar resolver problemas. Não indico nem ao meu inimigo.

Comentário adicional após a "retórica" do "hotel": Talvez possa ter ocorrido alguma confusão linguística, pois falamos em português e o atendente só falou em espanhol conosco, mas eu SUGERI levar os lençóis para lavar, e o mesmo atendente NEGOU essa opção, por isso o que eles estão falando NÃO CONFERE! Deram a opção de trocarmos de quarto por um INFERIOR, o que para nós não era viável, tendo em vista que JÁ ESTAVA PAGA A RESERVA POR TODOS OS DIAS QUE FICAMOS. Não faria sentido pegarmos um quarto inferior, nem cancelar a reserva QUE JÁ ESTAVA PAGA. Enfim, muitos problemas e...
