My recent stay at this hotel was truly exceptional. Nestled within a quick walk from the lively plaza, the welcoming and charming atmosphere immediately made me feel safe and at home. The owner's hospitality knows no bounds; being bilingual, he goes out of his way to ensure a delightful stay, whether it's scheduling a taxi or providing directions. Eric at the front desk was an absolute delight, making my experience even more enjoyable. The presence of two friendly dogs added a lovely touch to the warm ambiance.
Beyond the warm reception, the value for the price was outstanding. The attic room, in particular, felt like a home away from home, cozy and comforting. The flexibility to leave our luggage and the warm welcome upon our return were thoughtful gestures that left a lasting impression.
Furthermore, the property showcased excellent organization, safety, and cleanliness. The provision of complimentary coca tea and water 24/7 was a considerate touch, aiding in acclimatization. The Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the premises was reliable, adding to the overall convenience. Without a doubt, I look forward to revisiting this haven and reliving the...

We were in a 6 bed room with bunk beds. The size of the room was great, there is a bathroom directly next to the bedroom which is cleaned daily. The beds are much bigger than in other hostels (120x200). The location of the hostel is not ideal (unless you want to go to the Inkarail office to get on/off the train). But there is a small green garden with flowers and chairs to relax in the sun. The internet worked well everywhere, even though there are several wifi connections, which is a bit confusing because not all of them work equally well. But apart from these little things, I can only warmly recommend the hostel. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful without exception. The breakfast is extensive and delicious. There is also free tea in the breakfast room throughout the day. There is a bar, a pool table (which was a bit old and worn but it was still fun) and plenty of sofas and seating if you want to pass the time in the hostel. We spent one night in Aguas calientes and during that time we stored our backpacks safely...
Read moreThe inn is unique, but the rooms are so-so. The shower head had a lot of mineral build-up, so the water sprayed everywhere until I rubbed some of it off with my fingers so I could shower. And the shower was slow draining in both rooms I stayed in. Also the phone charging ports don't all work. It does have wifi, includes breakfast, a pool table/games and the staff are friendly and helpful. But overall I wouldn't stay again considering there are places closer to the main part of town that are cleaner. There's no A/C, it's not wheelchair friendly, one room I stayed in had a broken door lock and it says it has an airport shuttle but you have to pay extra for it....
