We visited at 5.50pm on a Tuesday and were the only diners in the restaurant. My Wife ordered quinoa burger and I ate off the 35 soles 'tourist menu' which had about 4 choices for each course. I had a salad starter which was greens, avocado, onions, tomato and peppers. Followed by Alpaca strips with onions, peppers, chips and a lovely sauce. We had drinks as well and were astounded that the total bill was only s/ 67! That's less than £15 UK. Another reviewer claimed this restaurant was not serving Alpaca and was overpriced. Have they got the right place? Alpaca is definitely different from cow beef- it is tender and has a sort of 'grainy' finish. (The place started to get busy as we...

La Quinta Restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes that delight from the very first bite.
We loved the Cusqueño Chicken Soup (Caldo de Gallina) , it took us back to the days when our mothers would comfort us with a warm bowl of soup, yet this one has a unique and special flavor of its own.
The Chicken Diet Soup (Dieta de Pollo) was delicious and came with flavorful white rice that could be enjoyed on its own. Although it seemed simpler after the chicken soup, it was still exquisite.
The Panko-Crusted Chicken Milanesa was very good, though it could use a little extra touch. And the Ají de Gallina, which we thought couldn’t surprise us anymore, turned out to be truly delicious.
Finally, the Trío Marino —seafood rice, classic ceviche, and mixed fried seafood— was simply amazing!
And to top it all off, we want to highlight Obrien’s excellent service, a young waiter who is attentive, knowledgeable about every dish, and very helpful. Don’t hesitate to ask to be served by him; he’ll make your experience...
Read moreWe had a disappointing experience at La Quinta. From the start, the employee/host named Blake came across as unwelcoming and rude. While we were still deciding and hadn’t placed our order, he walked over and took the menu, given to me, from my table without asking. I told him I hadn’t ordered yet, but he ignored me completely and handed the menu to another table, without offering any apology/explanation or showing basic courtesy. The behavior was appalling and left me flabbergasted. Simple standards of customer service were...
