KARMAWASI FAMILIAR HOUSE , NEXT TO SAN BLAS MARKET!! — Hotel in Distrito de Cusco

We rent house when we travel as a money saver and as a way to immerse ourselves in the culture. We rarely are disappointed, in fact have had amazing results. This house though should be avoided. First after promises by the owners that they would be there to meet us and offer us a cooking class and they would buy a washing machine for our laundry (which we really didn't care about), we never even saw them the entire stay. Instead they had a neighbor meet us and the neighbors English was very limited so was of almost no help. There were two washrooms with showers, both of which were the suicide variety with live wiring in the shower, neither of which got warm for more than a few seconds. There was rotting food in the kitchen. The overall condition of the kitchen was awful and made it so that we did not even want to put food into the kitchen and certainly did not want to cook in it. The bedrooms were very cold. The two downstairs washrooms were late additions so were a large step up into each. The whole place hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The playground in the center was rusty. There was no central room for us to get together. I would highly advise that you do not rent this place, it isn't close enough to the city center to make it worthwhile to put up with...

I have been here for one month, and I absolutely love it. Gabriella and Kevin help me whenever I need answers, even though I don't speak Spanish. We use Google Translate, when I don't understand them. My room is small, but there are many rooms I can use. There is one room with a great tv and a beautiful kitchen. Everything is so clean all the time. And the refrigerator is cold enough that I can even have ice cream in the freezer. It is so peaceful and quiet. There is a big patio in the middle of the house. I really love it here. I had the opportunity to go stay with my friend and pay rent to her, but I decided to stay here. Gabriella and Kevin are always happy, which makes me happy. KARMAWASIII Asi como su nombre lo indica es una casita hospedaje 😁 en la cual hay mucha paz , tranquilidad,etc. En la que vas a poder descansar de la rutina, y visitar los lugares bonitos de cusco!!!! Karmawasi es el mejor lugar en el cusco para poder descansar ya que puedes prepararte tus comidas si quieres, nos brinda una cosina, una sala para poder mirar peliculas y un patiesito para poder tomar el sol😎 ya sea de día o en la tardesita!!!!
