CORDILLERA HOTEL — Hotel in Huaraz

We stayed at the Cordillera Hotel for four nights on the recommendation of our Peruvian friends, and it truly was the highlight of our trip! The hotel's prime location provides easy access to the area's main attractions. We enjoyed excellent service and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Each morning, we started our day with delicious, hearty breakfasts, whether dining in or taking them to go, which made our excursions even more enjoyable. The rooms are tastefully furnished, spacious, with comfortable beds, and impeccably clean.

The standout feature of our stay was undoubtedly the staff: kind, friendly, and exceptionally well-trained. They made organizing our days effortless with their valuable advice. A special thanks to Yuli, whose extensive knowledge and friendly demeanor made our stay feel like we were among lifelong friends. Her guidance on excursions and places to visit in Huaraz was invaluable.

This is a modern three-star hotel with very good rooms and, above all, amazing staff. I think it belongs to the top-three hotels in Huaraz, fulfilling international standards. The location is good: the residential neighborhood Soledad is quiet and just a 10-minute walk from the commercial center. The shower was super hot within seconds and the wifi worked well. In the low season, the breakfast is less abundant and served personally, which is not bad either, but maybe cereals (oats?) and fresh fruit could be included. The restaurant's international menu is huge, but maybe I would prefer a smaller offer with more regional dishes. A bottle of water per day in the room would be nice. By the way, the rooms were super clean and not that cold during the night. Apart from these minor suggestions, everything is really amazing!...

The hotel is excellent. I have explored most of Huaraz and I can say with certainty this is an excellent option. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is nice, but for me it was the service. All the staff were great, but I must call out Luz Ayala as she was so incredibly helpful in helping me make some last minute travel changes due to health issues that had us staying 1 extra day. Luz helped make calls as my Spanish is very poor....
