WOW! Inkaland was very professional and we had an excellent experience with the company - great communication via Whatsapp. We were very privileged to end up with just of us (we travelled mid September) and had a private experience for a very good price. Thank you Inkaland! The 6 day Huayhuash Itinerary was fantastic - we got to see all the highlights and enjoyed having time in the afternoons to relax by the Lagunas. Our guide Saul was amazing - he helped me with my spanish and spoke excellent english. He let us set the pace and was a great photographer! We made a friend in Saul. Our Cook Iber left us speechless every day - the variety and flavours of the meals he prepared was incredible! We were never hungry and had snack packs each day too. I even got a cake for my birthday!!! While camping! Ito - our donkey driver was always at work - setting up our campsite or getting the donkeys ready for their big walks! We feel like we had the best trio looking after us! The gear was great quality - we were never cold and even when it rained or the winds howled, we were dry and cosy in our tent. Overall - I highly recommend you choose Inkaland for your Huayhuash trek! Thank you so much!

We just finished the 11-day Huayhuash trek with Inkaland Treks, and it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. From the very beginning, Edita (the owner) made everything easy. She handled all the logistics so we could just focus on the hike. Our team on the trek was fantastic. Dio, our guide, was not only knowledgeable about the mountains and local culture, but he also kept spirits up with his sense of humor. Yber, the cook, amazed us every single day — I still can’t believe the meals he made out there, especially the hot soups at the end of long hiking days. And Ito, our arriero, took good care of the mules and made sure everything ran smoothly in the background. The trek itself is tough but absolutely worth it. Every day we were blown away by the views. But what really made it special was the warmth and professionalism of the whole team. I would 100% recommend Inkaland Treks.

We used inkaland for a couple day hikes near Huaraz, and for a 4 day Santa Cruz trek. Highly recommend them. For day hikes, they were very reasonably priced and arranged all transport, and supplied food. For the trek, they were phenomenal. High quality gear, including brand new Marmot sleeping bags (which were big enough for me, 6’2’’ / 188 cm). Amazing food and friendly, knowledgeable guides; our guide Yber was great, and always knew the best viewpoints for lunch and breaks, away from other hikers! The cordillera Blanca range is perhaps the most beautiful place I’ve been, and appreciated having such a great company to show us around.

Edita and her team were simply the best. There is no better word to name them: The "best". From day one to the last one they took care of everything, in every detail, to provide me the best experience during all trekks.

I did 3 aclimatation trekks (Paron, Laguna 69 and Churup) and then did a 5 nights Santa Cruz trekking with a hidden gem, Cerro Sentillo, at 5.110m, in the middle. This is a hidden gem there. Everybody is just passing by there after Punta Union, missing it. Edita and Giogenes did their best to discuss with me, look at maps, investigate, so we could do it. Only a high client driven company could do this.

The Laguna's trekks were perfect to start and get myself ready to the big one.

Mario was the guide in the first two and was perfect in every detail. Giogenes, Luis and Felix were my team in the Santa Cruz one. There are no words to express my gratitude for their efforts to make my trip de best one. Giogenes was THE guide. Detailed to leave everything perfect. Luis, the Chef, hummmm... what this guy was able to cook with limit resources was incredible, Felix, the porter, ready to help any time, at any moment.

From the early coffee cup to the late hot water bowl to wash my soul after long walking hours, they were simply amazing. Food was exceptional in all days, from local food, with fresh ingredients, to even a pizza one day and a Pisco "cheers" on the last one. I was invited for a lunch in the last day, in Huaraz, prepared by Carmen, Diogenes wife, where they served me the best Chicharron in all Peru! Delicious food ever. Thanks Carmen!

We did have a great time, just like feeling among family and friends, during these days.

Don't waste your time just looking for cheap companies that join dozens of people together and makes your life miserable.

Join Inkaland and really enjoy your journey in Huascaran National Park.

Make it unique, make it memorable, make it one in a life time experience with Inkaland.

Thanks Edita, Diogenes, Luis,...

If you're looking to go to the hidden gems of Peru, don't know who in Huaraz to go with, just book with Inkaland Treks. They are probably the best-run adventure/hiking/climbing company I have ever come across: extremely helpful and friendly staff, guiding through breathtaking views, with hands down the best food I've ever eaten while camping. We went on the 6 day hike through Huaywash with 2 days of acclimatation hikes. Coming from a city at sea level, the elevation was a huge adjustment, but the first 2 hikes helped, as did the calm and expert guidance of Dio. During the 6 day hike itself, Inkaland made everything incredibly easy, and even luxurious. We were able to relax and take in the sights as we hiked, knowing the entire campsite, food, logistics, gear, and more were all taken care of.

And I need to give a special shout-out to Hilario, who was our cook during this trek. I think he has mastered the art and science of campsite cooking. The meals he made for us were often 3 courses, had plenty to spare with each course, were timed perfectly, and were each incredibly delicious. At one point he made wantons from scratch and served them as a tea-time snack after the day's hike, then served a dinner full of fresh vegetables sauteed in delicious sauces, with wonderfully cooked and seasoned chicken--and somehow during all this he had time to make a cake. All from 2 stoves. I was watching him cook, because I couldn't believe what he was doing. Truly a master. You cannot go wrong with Inkaland, I want to plan my next trip to...
