Read moreWe stayed here back in November 2013 for a week and Doña Flor looked after us like a mum :) The labyrinthine building has 3 levels plus a loft and open deck up the top with stairs and paserelles cris-crossing the interior space. They have multiple rooms of multiple sizes from double/single to group rooms. There is a lunch/dining room with fridge and sundry, laundry, etc. and one can even venture to the family's living room and hang out with Doña Flor and her family. They are very nice and gentle and world savvy and cultured. The whole setup is very casual. The front gate is locked and you get a key so you can wander in and out as you wish. Huaraz is a biggish town and has lots of eateries and a massive market which we fully indulged in but that's another review. Cut the long story short, we enjoyed staying at La Cabaña. Affordable, clean and homely...

I would definitely...
