Lovely lovely hostel. Richard and Liliana and their daughter Kati are super sweet and accommodating. Jessica who helps with cooking and cleaning is also super nice and I loved chatting with her! The beds are so comfortable and warm and I love that they’re wooden single beds instead of bunk beds! They also have ample shelving in the dorms which is amazing for storage and keeping organized! The brick walls and and matching yellow comforters and little garden are so charming. It’s very close to the center of town but just far enough away that it’s a bit more residential area and a bit calmer and quieter. Well stocked be well organized kitchen that’s open from 4-9pm. The breakfast is simple but good- coffee, tea, juice, breads with jam and butter, and either eggs or pancakes. They also are super helpful organizing tours or day trips at a good price. Sweet kitties to snuggle with as well! I stayed here for 8 nights and slept so well. It’s so quiet and calm. Thanks Richard and Liliana!

This hostel has a lot of potential but it is not yet there! The staff is really nice and helpful, they let me do a very early check-in an even offered me breakfast on the first arrival day. The location is great! 5-10minutes walking to the main areas. The sheets and beds are new and clean. The room however is moldy (see picture) and the carpet was not really clean. The bathroom needs some maintenance and it would be great if you could buy a toilet cover that fits the size of the toilet. The shower was hot and pressure was good but the water was cut at around 23:00 (I think it was not the hostel fault...). The breakfast changes every day and the WiFi is good. I hope the facilities will be improved

Mirador BB was "home" during my time in Huaraz. I stayed in a private room, very nice to rest after some days on the road. After checking out, I came back on the end of the day to pick um my luggage and take a shower that is allowed for 10s. Very convenient! The common area is well organized and clean. The same goes for the bathroom and kitchen. Breakfast offered is totally worth it. They can support you with basically everything you need. Tour transfer is highly recommended! Prices better than other agencies. It is well located. Near enough from the central part of Huaraz and far from street noise and rush. You can walk up and down everywhere. Grateful for the joyful time staying here!

My boyfriend and I are from Canada. We reserved two nights here, but ended up staying 4 more! Krusty Backpackers has been one of our favorite hostels in the last few years by far. The staff, especially Richard and Liliana, are extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us plan complicated last minute trips. We loved the breakfast (it’s included) and variety of coffee, teas and mate de coca offered with it. The rooms and common areas are very clean and the kitchen is fully equipped. Shower has hot water and great water pressure (a life saver when you come home tired from walking all day). They offer a quick laundry cleaning service at a great price, which was useful between hikes. The hostel is located in front of a lovely little park full of flowers and benches, and the view of the snow covered mountains is...
