Hotel Inka Path — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

Excellent central location, very clean, comfortable bed, nice breakfast. ||The room was lovely and had its own balcony overlooking the main street and although it was extremely busy in the evenings, the noise in the room was minimal.||Now for some advice.... ||The hotel arranged a taxi to collect us from the airport. We had ring them twice and waited almost an hour but it turned up eventually.||On checking in, the staff spoke very little English so it was difficult but we got through it. The charge for the taxi was added to the room rate which you pay on checking in. ||Later in the evening, one lady on reception spoke a little English and we were able to get some assistance with local information.||We booked a taxi to take us to the airport 2 day later and on checking out, we were asked to pay our mini bar bill and the payment up front for the taxi. I tried to ask why we needed to pay up front but the man spoke no English at all and we were not allowed to leave until it was paid. Upon arrival at the airport, we had to pay the driver again in cash. ||Please be warned that you should not pay the hotel for your return taxi to the airport. It has taken almost 2 months for the hotel to refund the overcharge.||Overall, the hotel was very good if you...

Hotel Inca Path is located on a pedestrian area of Lima and it's literally in the center of all the attractions. It's a very busy street! On arrival I was greeted with a smile, I was checked in within minutes and shown to my room. The room was very basic and it was clean, the bathroom too was clean and it had the biggest shower I ever seen, it could probably fit at least eight people easily! My room was located at the front of the hotel which had a balcony, there's lots of street performers that perform right outside the hotel and you'll get a birds eye view of the entertainment, because of this it's not the quietest hotel, well not at the front of the hotel to say the least, so if you're looking for quiet request a room at the back of the hotel. The AC in the room was fantastic, they have free wifi and the connection was just okay, in certain areas it was better but overall not bad at all. They offer a very minimal buffet breakfast, it's not much but it'll get you through until lunch. For $60- a night this place was perfect, the place is clean and you're in the center of everything. como pueden ver no soy un viajero amateur y lima es uno de mis destinos mas frecuentes no solo por trabajo si no por placer tambien en esta oportunidad el hotel donde se llegar "KAMANA" Se encontraban llenos por lo cual me recomendaron inkapath hice mi reserva por una suit por un precio superior al que pago en kamana que simplemente es superior pero se puede entender ya que estamos en una sociedad de libre mercado de eso no hay discucion si te gusta lo pagas o no !! pero lo que no se puede aceptar es lo que les relatare acontinuacion :||1-arribando alima luego de 4 hrs de vuelo y las otras 2 de aeropuerto y 40 minutos de taxi llego con mi pareja reventados con ganas de una ducha y salir a comer algo el senor de la resepcion me dice que tengo que cancelar por adelantado ok no hay problema politicas del hotel que no son muy comunes pero la encuentras !!quiero pagar en dolares y me dicen que no recibe dolares y si quiero pague con VISA le explico que quiero pagar en efectivo que es lo que me acomoda entonces no encuentra nada mejor que decirme " tiene que ir a buscar una persona que cambie dinero en la calle para pagar y asi dar la habitacion" me molesto y se lo hice saber vengo por dos noches no me voy a ir puedo tomar una ducha y luego salgo cambio y le pago" acto seguido me enttegan la habitacion que era de 2x2 que no entrabamos los dos en ella y no era la pactada ni menos por el valor hablado regreso y le digo y me dice es que la habitacion que usted esta reservo esta ocupada " jajajajjaja es risorio despues de unos dias conatrlo pero en ese momento no podia creer lo care palo que es este tipo reconoces que no estoy en la ahabitacion que te estoy pagando luego un asistente o guardia le comenta de otra y nos da una en las mismas condiciones pero mas grande ok segui en una habitacion que no era la que correspondia luego el internet reclamamos varios p[asajeros y nos decia no es problema del wi-fi son sus equipos si podria ser el mio pero no de 4 pasajeros mas que se encontraban en la misma situacion , lo mas extrano de todo esto fue el dia del check out cuando nos ibamos la resepcionista que al parecer es algo asi como manager en este lugarcillo nos dice ustedes rompieron un vaso si efectivamente ocurrio un accidente se nos rompio el vaso tiene que pagarlo " quedando sorprendido ya que en ningun lugar por u$60 la noche te cobran un vaso de vidrio " ok respondi te lo pago me cobra s/10 cuando ala vuelta de la esquina los venden en 2 soles y mas grandes acto seguido le pide al guardia que nos vigile porque ella tenia que revisar la habitacion antes de irnos nosotros con un taxi esperando para ir al aeropuerto extrangeros pagandote 60 dolares por el sucucho ese !!que habran pensado que nos ibamos a llevar las toallas !!!??? solo puedo decir dueno de inkapath capacita a tu gente y no pienses solo en asegurar tu negocio en la atencion con modales gnaras mucho mas viajo a lima cada tres meses y no regreso a tu hotel ni asi me lo regalen!!!!me aloje desde el 19 al 21...
