La Casona Azul Guesthouse — Hotel in Lima Metropolitan Area

Me encanta casona azul! Everyone is so attentive and friendly, and they were very patient with my limited Spanish. There's also a friendly chill perro that I saw a few times. The area is really good because it's quiet and relaxing and you can easily go visit different areas in all directions. I walked to Baranco, Larco Mar, and the more busy cosmopolitan section of Mira Flores only a few blocks away. Convenience stores are right near by. I got a room with a shared bathroom and it was not overly busy. The breakfast is great! You sit up on a rooftop patio and the wonderful staff cook custom omelettes, give you the freshest juice I've ever had, coffee, tea, a bowl of fruit with granola and yogurt, although I also suggest trying to explore and check out some local spots if your here for more than a couple days. Overall a super comfortable place to stay, especially if you are traveling alone or are nervous about visiting from another country...

Great quiet location, fantastic breakfast, kind service! I arrived around midnight if not later so i was worried about check in (i did communicate when i booked), but the lady who received me was so kind and warm. I don't remember her name but i came Nov 23/24, 2024. She gave me options for the available rooms and made sure i was comfortable. The breakfast is in the covered rooftop and was lovely: sweet and savory options, breads, eggs, meats, delicious local fruits, coffee and juices. I didn't realize that you don't get charge through booking.com so I paid the following day which makes me appreciate the lady from last night even more for just letting me rest after a late arrival.

During my trip to Peru in September 2022 I stayed tiwce at La Casona Azul Guesthouse. First after arriving in Lima for 4 nights and then again for one night before returning to Germany at the end of my trip. The guesthouse is very cozy, the rooms are super clean and the beds are also very comfortable. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace was always very very good. There were different dishes every morning like e.g. banana pancakes and tamales. Juices and omlettes are always served as well. The staff is super super nice and helpful. I can fully reccommend to stay at this place when visiting Miraflores, Lima. I will be back in Lima hopefully very soon and would definitely book a room at La Casona Azul again. Thanks...
