We were there for a large medical conference with a group. The hotel is well located (albeit the fact that traffic in Miraflores is absolutely horrible and most Uber drivers avoid this particular area like the plague - on average 3-4 uber drivers would cancel ride requests). The hotel is by and large well maintained, service is good, the staff from the front desk to the restaurant is amicable, service oriented and try hard. Rooms are spacious, bed quality is good. They do need to offer different option pillows, all our rooms had huge hard pillows and everyone in our group complained. Food was decent (lunch and dinner were OK), breakfast has a lot of options which was a plus, just don't try ordering a fresh omelet (3 days in a row they either didn't get our orders right, took 1/2 hour or simply forgot). Overall for a short stay or for a corporate event, it's a decent choice. One BIG advice - ask for a room on the back or side of the hotel, avoid rooms facing the entrance/front as there is too much traffic and party noise at night (noise from major bars and nightclubs up the street negatively...
Read moreNice enough little hotel, about 5 minutes walk from the seafront. I mention that as there are some places to eat in that direction which I’d have tried had I stayed longer. I was only stayed one night and so it was easier I ate at the hotel in the second floor restaurant. It was empty when I arrived, and the meal was quite disappointing, some hot food was served cold. Although the fella serving was really friendly. The room I had was a bit basic, and walls were thin but I was so exhausted after arriving late into the night it really didn’t wake me. All in all it was ok for one night. I would add the man on the front desk Carlos was really helpful whenever I asked anything too. I probably would stop here again as the location is quite useful too and I should add the...
Read moreThere seems to be two Jose Antonio hotels very close to each other the “Executive” is the older more tired version. The rooms are quite large as too are the bathrooms and the bed is firm but comfortable and the room is clean but the hotel is in need of a good refurbishment and freshen up.There are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room or free bottled water which is very annoying yet so easy to fix. Breakfast is fine with plenty of variety and good quality and not busy (07.00 thru 08.00).||Worth knowing the room safe needs a key that is issued by reception but not before you get to the room and find out! ||The location is very good for touring the Miraflores area with waterfront, shops and restaurants very close and Kennedy Park about...
