Isidro Bistró Limeño — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

I never expect anything great out of restaurants in hotel. However, Isidro Bistro just blew my mind. Every food was exquisitely prepared and pushed that extra mile - flambéed, artistically plated, perfectly balanced and so on.

I didn't get to take that many pics as we were impatient ha. Some of my favorites were: Breakfast - Eggs Benedict, French Toast, roasted vegetables, sweet potatoes, tamales, crispy fried chicken Dinner - duck with rice (phenomenal!), caramel pasta, chili hen, chocolate Mundo, churro sandwich.

Chef Benjamin, Chef Pedro Torres and their teams make magic out of of their food. I really enjoyed being served by Fiorella, Emanuel and David. They offered a lot of wonderful recommendations based on our taste preferences. The whole team really wants you to have the best experience, bringing out food options when new dishes get freshly prepared at the kitchen.

I won’t be exaggerating when I say that I’ve had some of my best meals in this restaurants, and I’ve dined in fine restaurants in well over 20 counties. You just can't go wrong with anything you have here.

I didn’t realize this place was in the lobby of the Hyatt when I saw the restaurant listed initially. I came because the reviews seemed good. From the time I was seated, it took 10 minutes for someone to bring me a menu even though there were clearly several service personal standing around. When I finally got a menu had to repeat my order three times because she kept getting it wrong even though I ordered in Spanish and am fluent. The quality of the food is excellent. The coffee was very tasty and the Benedict was cooked to perfection - runny yellow inside and the hollandaise sauce is fresh made.
