Jazmine's Place — Hotel in Coron

Room, service and location are great. It's within the town proper so majority of the go-to places are within walking distance. Everything's working properly - AC, cable tv, hot and cold shower, flush and bidet. Bed, blanket and pillows are clean. Have doubts with the towels though. Hangers and a rack are available for clothes to dry. Running water can be heard when the toilet of the room above is flushed. Sounded creepy on the first night. They will knock on your door when your service arrives. Breakfast, which is served on the third floor, is included and can be chosen the night before. Food is decent. Lobby is open from 6 AM to 10 PM. Security guard is present during off hours. Free wifi, which is sometimes slow, is available only in the lobby. Perhaps it's turned off at around 9:30 PM. Cellphone signal is intermittent inside the rooms. Jazmine's Place and Islands View Inn are beside each other. Owners...

Room was good, quite big, spacious enough bathroom and a balcony. Ac worked well. Pillows were super good (nice and soft). And it was 5 pillows per bed. Good things end here. Wifi was plainly terrible. I reported to reception to fix it, they just laugher back at me... This is super unprofessional. Also checkin was very bad. We were made waiting till very 2pm for checkin. And other guests were showed to their rooms before us, even though we arrived 10am and I did come over to reception a day before to ask for early check in. Then I was told that it would be possible. On the day they were asking 100pesos per each hour of early checkin. And they knew my girlfriend was traveling all night. Very inhumane treatments. Especially rooms were empty before (I could see their check in excel sheet on computer screen)... Overall stay wasn't bad, but customer service is just absolutely unacceptable. I travel to Coron often. Just wanting to try this place for a change. I was with my wife so i looked for a bigger room than what im used to. The staff at the reception was busy with something else when we checked in and i felt not attended properly. I let it pass. The room was a different story, it was swarming with mosquitoes and we spent a good 5 minutes trying to swat them from the walls...we asked them to spray it when we went out for dinner...i booked the room 2 days ahead and i think they did not prepare it for an arriving guest. The room came with a free breakfast but since our flight was early, i requested for a packed meal and rhwy said yes, a sandwich will be prepared...morning came only the guard was there and no food...its the small things that count..there are other better...
