We stayed for five nights here. Overall we were happy with our choice because we struggled to find accommodation in El Nido, and the price suited our budget, but there are some pros and cons. ||CONS||- building work. This was a major headache (pun intended) for us. There is building work going on behind the hotel which is not too troublesome, but the hotel’s own building work was a problem. Thankfully it didn’t happen all days during our stay because work stopped over Easter, but when it resumed it was before 7am! Very strange that the hotel would choose to do that when it has paying guests staying. They were hammering the tiles above our room, and the noise was so strong that I could feel it when standing on our floor. The builders were also shouting and working on the roof outside our room in the early morning. The staff didn’t acknowledge or apologise for the noise so early. This is the main reason I can’t give more stars as it was unbearable to be in the room once the work began.||- there is a sign on the room saying rooms are cleaned after 3 days. We gave our key in on this day but nothing happened. ||PROS||- the location is central, in the middle of many restaurants and shops and a minute’s walk from the beach||- the staff are sweet and helpful||- the room was clean (bright green) and the bathroom had a good shower with hot water||- free tea and coffee at the little table outside your room each morning||- WiFi comes and goes but generally good, which is not necessarily the norm in El Nido ||- staff are at reception until late in the evening and can book tours and...
Read moreThe hotel was booked the morning of checking in as we were desperate to have a room with a private bathroom - I was extremely ill with food poisoning. ||We used booking.com and bought a room that turned out to be the expensive one with a view which was lovely after I spent 3 consecutive days in bed looking out the window. The staff were understanding and let us check in early, although when we saw the prices in reception we realised we’d paid way more through booking.com! ||The bed was comfortable, the room clean, the bathroom had everything you needed but did look out onto a building site. The room was bright green so did get a bit annoyed by after the first day! Each morning tea and coffee is delivered in a thermos to the table outside your door which was a nice touch. WiFi is quite good compared to other hotels in El Nido - particularly when there’s not many people in their rooms. Location is good - near restaurants and bars, beach and ferries but...
Read moreVery friendly and helpful personnel and loved sandwiches/burgers and shakes stand right next to it( the do requests). They clean rooms once in 3 nights which o don’t think is enough. Wi-fi is so bad so bad during a day but was better at night time ( i guess when people are asleep and don’t use it much) . The hotel staff isn’t responsible for any goodies lost so don’t bring many valued thing with you as its bot safe to live it there or to take it with you for boat trips .The construction work was us driving crazy! One time it was even till midnight and started again around 6am. I’m sorry we came for vacation and would love to have some sleep after tiring boats trips. Saw,hammer,drills.. building workers don’t care at all and shouting, singing no matter what time it is. You can stay there only if you a tough one and don’t need any rest at all as you wont be...
