So I would take this more as a rustic beach experience rather than a luxury of one subpar wifi, bad aircon. This place is a beach club first then the comfort of hotel guests second. Overall price performance ratio is weak, you are paying for location. We stayed for 5 nights Pro’s: - Nice balcony area, big with hammock - Location is the main selling point of this place, right on the beach, easy to get to town with tuktuks - Appreciated the water dispenser, especially constantly cold setting - Breakfast views are incredible, they only have green tea however for tea options - Beautiful lush green surroundings - mosquito spray needed - Mosquitos situation wasn’t as bad as we thought it would be inside the room, they provided mosquito incense - Double sink in room was nice - Provide umbrellas if raining Cons: - We asked 2 days if they had beach towels to take an tours and they said they are still at the laundry place, 2 days in a row, don’t rely on this hotel and bring your own - aircon was terrible and not strong enough to cool down the room, constantly too hot - No fridge in rooms! Real shame, we usually like to keep our fruit, snacks, drinks - Music really loud we thought it would just be 5-7pm, upon asking the hotel but it was all night, but even after normal music is blaring for hours, couldn’t sleep, we dreaded the music during siesta nap time after a long day in the heat, went on much later even on a Sunday - Steep stairs to our room and really heavy to carry suitcase, no one offered to help - Didn’t love the exposed shower area as two friends shared a room😂 - Had airalo eSim but got no signal here (not hotels fault just something to be aware of) - Breakfast kinda mid -the smoked fish on eggs benedict still frozen on some bites, fruit sour, we wouldn’t really feel satisfied and look for a cafe after, we aren’t usually picky eaters, the omelette is your safest option - Asked if we could replace tea or coffee in breakfast for another drink as we had bad tummies they said no - Tap kept falling off and bidet felt rusty - despite the rooms being reasonably new? - Staff are nice but they seem uninterested in your comfort, to go above and beyond to help, don’t really remember you, we kept coming back to la plage after tours and despite seeing us many times thought we were beach club guests and not hotel guests so they seemed confused why we were using the facilities without buying anything. If you ask them for anything usually the answer is no (swapping drinks at breakfast/towels etc) - They don’t have anything to wash your feet in before you get into room, end up bringing sand everywhere, usually beachfront accommodation provide this near your rooms - Pool is very small, crowded too, as a hotel guest doesn’t feel like your typical comfortable lounging by a pool experience - Bed sheet is too small for the bed so hard for two people to sleep comfortably, a bigger bed sheet is needed - The window near the shower doesn’t shut properly which does let a few mosquitoes in - Drain smells a bit weird in the shower - no covered bin in the toilet and doesn’t have a bin liner in it either, not great if you’re a woman - a few other reviews mentioned food poisoning which we also got, not sure if that’s down to the hotel though (just be cautious anyway) I hope this review is taken in good spirits as it definitely has potential to improve

Overall a good experience, room was nice and had a good atmosphere only thing was the bed was slightly hard but it wasn’t bad for a short stay. Breakfast was nice and we dined at the restaurant once too which was pretty good but prices slightly high I would say. Also we never got anything like some reviews say, but we noticed these reviews are left under a lot of el nido restaurants I assume it’s the water and people not being careful. We booked two tours and they were great, a little late with the pickups but it wasn’t anything major. friendly dogs and puppies too which is a bonus !! Overall I would say it’s a cute place with a nice vibe, with a good location so I would recommend :)

This is the worst place I have stayed. I have been on a month-long trip, staying in various locations, and this is the worst one. I'll share the reasons.||||Before I continue, I want to mention that I posted the same review on Booking.com, and the hotel owners responded, apologizing for a "misunderstanding" but only stating lies to excuse themselves. Truly, all their responses are untrue, and that's why I also want to convey this message here so that everyone is truly aware of how bad this hotel is.||||The worst place I've ever been in my life. I don't recommend it to anyone.||||Positive:||||Hotel staff: I want to highlight the attention of the staff. They were all very friendly and empathetic. The local people's strong sense of customer service is evident.||||||Negative:||||1)Poor organization: Upon arrival, they had issues with the assigned room and offered only one alternative. They suggested moving to another, much lower-quality hotel, then returning – a place they chose, as it shares the same owners. Clearly, an option convenient only for them, providing a lower-quality hotel (cheaper than what we booked on Booking.com).||2)Advertised services not available: Terrible Wi-Fi, faulty AC, subpar shower.||3)Poor room insulation: Noise from the restaurant and even animals disturbed sleep.||4)Room not properly sealed: Lizards were present in the room.||5)The worst aspect was the owner's (Alec) attitude: arrogant (telling guests to leave if they didn't like it), not listening to customers (speaking over me), sarcastically laughing at guests. They truly made us feel uncomfortable.||||I want to emphasize that they make customers feel bad; I strongly do not recommend it, not even for a...
