Lux Boutique Resort and Restaurant Siargao — Hotel in General Luna

We traveled here as a group and rented out the villa for several nights thereby spreading the cost across. As there were no other guests, we had the entire resort to ourselves. We had the pool, the poolside bar, the white sand beach, and even two very friendly german shepperds exclusive for us to enjoy. ||The resort is located on a cozy part of the coast about a kilometer from cloud 9 surfing area. It is 5 to 10 minutes by motorbike to the touristy area but is far enough for you to feel that you are in a remote island.||The staff was attentive, polite and made unobtrusive suggestions regarding our Siargao itinerary. Big salute to hotel manager Tiffany who welcomed us with delightful accommodation from the time we stepped out of our plane to the time we get on back to the plane. She provided us with shuttles and she suggested to us renting motorbikes to go around Siargao (I highly recommend this as public transpo is almost non-existent). She also provided contacts for island hopping trips up to Sohoton Cove (which you must go to!). We stayed in this beautiful villa for 3 days. |We're a group of 6 and we booked 3 rooms. 2 pairs stayed in second level (above the kitchen area)and the other pair stayed near the pool area. |Rooms in the second level gives you a good view of the pool and the ocean but all rooms are superb! |We were surprised to see that place looks so much better in person. It's very private. We felt like we have the entire island to ourselves. A home away from home. ||5 Things i suuuper LOVE about this place which most resorts don't have:|#1. their internet connection! They got really good wifi.. We were there for a short vacay but still wanted to get online for|work. We were super impressed by their wifi... All 6 of us can even do conference calls at the same time. Epic! | #2. rooms are super comfortable. Fresh linens, sleek toilet, and room is really spacious. |#3. We all love their kitchen. It's gives as option to eat out or cook our own food. Super functional! |#4 pool is heated. Mikey had been a gracious host to me and my friends. I am happy that my friends enjoyed their stay as much as I did at Lux. 5 of my work colleagues and I went to Siargao, all for the first time. We were there to get to know each other better for work at the same enjoy each other's company. We weren't able to go around the island, and spent most of the time at the resort. So, the stay was all worth it. ||||Internet was really great! all 6 of us were working together the whole day, never had a problem at all.||||Room was superb! ||||Kitchen was my favorite because my friends and I were able to hangout while cooking.||||Private and really quiet if you want it that way.
