Discovering Muni Muni Villas in the cozy nooks of General Luna is like stumbling upon Siargao's best-kept secret. This place is somehow in both a secluded spot where style meets comfort in the most laid-back way — but also smack in the middle of all the hustle, and that’s its charm!
As soon as you step in, the villa's vibe catches you. It's not just another cookie-cutter resort; it's a space where every nook tells a story, decked out with some seriously cool art and thoughtful design. The rooms? They're snug and have everything you need for a comfy stay (and by snug, I mean just the right size, not cramped!). A simple addition like a luggage rack would make it even better.
Now, the real stars of Muni Muni Villas are the staff. These guys are simply fantastic – always ready to help, super warm, and they make you feel like you’re part of the family. Their dedication to making your stay perfect is something you don’t see everywhere.
The dining here deserves a shout-out too – a diverse menu that takes you on a global taste tour. But honestly, it's the relaxed atmosphere and the staff's incredible service that truly set this place apart. Whether you’re chilling by the pool, enjoying a meal in the dining area, or exploring the local haunts on Tourism Road, this villa nails the perfect blend of chill and charm.
Ideal for couples or anyone who's after a unique, off-the-beaten-path experience, Muni Muni Villas is more than just a stay. It's an experience that perfectly melds great design, comfort, and the friendliest...
Read moreThe staff were lovely, friendly especially the ladies on reception. Couldn’t fault them. The hotel itself is lovely..HOWEVER this was all overshadowed by the fact that the owner of this hotel was hosting a party of people (who I can only assume were his family) who came on day 2 of my 5 day stay, they were there for the rest of my stay sadly. I counted 17 of them. This hotel is extremely small so they literally overtook the place. The pool/chill area in this hotel is very small and they took over the whole pool and did not make me feel welcome at all. I noted as one girl who had been in the pool for a while got out shortly after this party of people got in the pool. She clearly felt uncomfortable!! One morning I woke up to go have breakfast only to find this unwelcome party of people spread out on every single table!!! I was so shocked. No room for anyone else. If they were a friendly bunch I would not have minded but they were not. When I smiled at them, they would literally just stare.I almost felt like I was imposing in their home. It forced me to be out of the hotel as much as I possibly could just to avoid them. Extremely rude, arrogant and entitled people! I will add that the owner is lovely and welcoming…he should show his guests how to...
Read moreWe had a great stay at muni muni villas. This is a lovely boutique hotel in the center to Siargao, with easy access to general luna. The rooms were clean and well decorated. The service was very attentive. We enjoyed the family atmosphere of the hotel. To improve we would recommend two minor things to the hotel: have more scooters available to rent. These were limited and we were not able to get a scooter some of the day (we tried to rent one on the very busy Easter weekend). be more flexible with the breakfast order. We asked to make a small adjustment to the pancake order which we were told we would have to pay for, even though the ingredients were available for another type of pancake. Given the price of the hotel we would expect to not be charged extra for a banana when breakfast is included. A little bit more flexibility goes a long way.
Overall our stay was great and we would...
