I recently had the privilege of staying at Marahuyo Beach Cottages, and I am simply enchanted by the unparalleled experience it provided. From the moment I opened my eyes in the morning, I was greeted by the breathtaking vista of the azure sea stretching before me. The convenience of being able to step out of my villa and directly onto the shore for some invigorating surfing was a dream come true for any water enthusiast.

But it wasn't just the daytime allure that made my stay remarkable; it was the nights that truly painted a magical picture. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the symphony of crickets and other nocturnal creatures created an enchanting melody, wrapping me in the comforting embrace of nature. The melody of the night became the perfect lullaby, allowing me to drift into a peaceful slumber that I haven't experienced in ages.

What truly sets Marahuyo Beach Cottages apart is the meticulously designed landscape that ensures the utmost privacy. The lush trees that envelop the cottages created a serene cocoon, shielding me from the world's hustle and bustle. It felt as though I was in my own little paradise, far removed from the chaos of everyday life.

The shared kitchen and fridge were a thoughtful addition, adding a touch of practicality to this ethereal escape. Preparing meals in such a serene environment became an enjoyable and therapeutic activity, making me appreciate the simple pleasures of life.

The entire experience was a symphony of nature, tranquility, and luxury made of pure nature. The team at Marahuyo Beach Cottages has managed to create a haven that seamlessly blends the allure of the ocean, the serenity of the night, and the comfort of well-thought-out amenities. We stayed here for 7D and 6N. It was a beachfront cottage, but not advisable to swim because of the reefs. The room was small but has it’s own T&B. You can also ask them to clean your room and change sheets and towel. This is a perfect place for couple who wanted to have a quiet and serene time during their stay in Siargao. It can be loud during Saturday night because of the Party at Harana’s but will end at around midnight. I suggest that you wake up early, seat in front of the cottage porch and watch the sunrise, while listening to the sound of the waves. It was therapeutic!

The internet here was fast, they use Starlink. Since the room was small and I needed to work at night I opted to bring my own camping chair to improvise and have my own work station inside the room.

Also, it is best to rent a motorcycle when staying here, Bon can help you with this, as it would take you few minutes to walk from your cottage to the main road. You do have two options though, you can pass by Harana’s on your left or take the bumpy road on the right, Both would lead you to the main road. At night, we stroll by the beach and saw a lot of hermit crabs.

Over all our stay here was magnificent, it was the relaxation we’ve been looking for. I highly recommend you to stay in this...

Best for couples, a place for relaxation while hearing the sound of the splashing waves, with a gentle breeze of air touching your face, combined with a frontrow sit of watching majestically the beautiful Sunset and Sunrise while sitting and drinking coffee in your cottage porch.

Friendly face greets you everytime, the Manager Bon is always around to assist you with a smile, and Melvin is the one in charge of maintaining the surroundings neat at clean.

We stayed there from Oct. 27 up to Nov. 2, 2023 and it's such a wonderful experience choosing MARAHUYO as our accomodation.

Note that they don't serve food, but they have a common kitchen if you like to cook your own meal.

Marahuyo is near around popular destination in Siargao, HARANA beach resort is right beside it, and they have Party every Thursday and Saturday. Cloud 9 is just a 10 minutes walk, Catangnan Bridge in the afternoon is around 15-20 minutes stroll, but if you like to rent a motorcycle 🛵 🏍️ it will take you no more than 5 minutes. Tourism Rd is just a ride away for nightlife gimmicks, foods and drink.

By the way there's a Hermit Crab I found and it's a big one and I named it "MARU" if you suddenly cross your path...
