We came here for recommendation of some friends, unfortunately it didn't meet our expectations. We ordered at 7.45pm the bundle "jug of margarita and a margherita", by 9pm the jug of margarita was finished and we were still waiting for the pizza A table of 4 sat down close to us was complaining because they were also waiting for their food for a long time. After 1h and 20min, a table of 2 that arrived 30min circa after us, got served before us. At this point, we went to the till and asked to get the pizza refunded as we just wanted to leave.
The situation was quite sad. The place was not busy at all, so it didn't even justify the long waiting. 7 people working, but only 3 were actually doing something. Apart from when we got served the drinks, the waitress didn't check our table once during the whole time. Comunications could've changed something, but ignoring us didn't help. As my occupation is in hospitality and most of it spent in pizzerias, I understand that there might be some days where it can be busy or there might be some technical issues. But this was clearly not that case. Hope when I'll be back the situation will be different, because I believe the place as a lot of potential, good equipment, and the...
Read moreThe pizza was some of the better food we have had on our trip in the Philippines. What a shame that the staff allow guests to smoke in the middle of the sitting area (there are signs everywhere saying that you can't smoke at the tables), we had just received our food (the tables around us were finishing theirs) one by one someone on every table surrounding us lights a cigarette. The staff came and cleared dishes from the smokers and said nothing even though there is clear policy and signs posted at each table. Overall it ruined our dining experience, every bite of the delicious pizza was chased down by the smell of second hand smoke.
Hopefully grab becomes available on the island soon so that you can try this place from the comfort of your hotel room because I wouldn't recommend coming and sitting to dine unless you are...
Read moreThis place is worth it. Tried their “best seller,” which was the shrimp pizza. The size is fairly big, but the thin crust makes each pizza basically good enough for two people to eat and feel full enough. Some may think two are worthy of ordering if you’re looking to make a true meal out of it. With it being right next to Shaka, if you’re not up for their drink selection you can literally walk a few feet and get yourself a smoothie or fresh juice. The atmosphere around the place is pretty solid, but the seating area gets pretty packed given how popular both places are. Regardless, I highly recommend since the pizza has quality ingredients and they use fresh dough. We parked up on the street, but only because we didn’t realize there is a free lot you can drive your motorbike down into so long you’re ordering at...
