Heidi (Reception): ||Heidi provides exceptional service with a welcoming and patient approach. When I requested to move to a unit with a nice view and a quiet setting, she immediately arranged for me to stay in Room 1414, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Her attention to detail and understanding made my stay more comfortable. Additionally, she helped ease my stress by promptly refunding my security deposit without requiring a receipt. Her outstanding, professional and prompt service is a top reason I would recommend staying here.||Clarizze (Reception): ||Clarizze was wonderfully attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived until I left. When I had an issue with my TV remote controller, she went above and beyond, even trying to troubleshoot the infrared using her phone. Although the remote ultimately needed replacement, she immediately arranged for assistance, respecting my decision when I chose to rest and manually operate the TV. Her warm and professional demeanor truly enhanced my stay.||Heidi and Clarizze: ||Both Heidi and Clarizze made me feel truly welcomed from the moment I arrived. Even when they saw me outside the hotel, they greeted me warmly as if they knew me, making me feel delighted and at home. Their genuine friendliness and attentiveness throughout my stay created a sense of comfort and ease that I’ll always remember. It’s these personal touches, along with their outstanding service, that really made my experience exceptional.||Von (Reception): ||Von was incredibly helpful when I needed to print a document after a long, exhausting flight on a rainy day. Although printing services aren’t typically offered, she understood my situation and went out of her way to assist me with a warm smile. Her kindness and willingness to help made a huge difference.||Improvements: Adding a small dining table or a folding breakfast tray for single occupants would greatly enhance dining comfort, as I found myself using the countertop for meals, which wasn’t ideal. This simple addition could significantly improve the in-room dining experience.||Additionally, when I extended my stay and moved to a room managed by a different operator, I noticed they provided drinking water in a blue container, a thoughtful touch that could be considered for consistency across all rooms. These small adjustments would add to the overall convenience and enjoyment for guests.||Overall Rating: 5 Stars||While the apartment may not be as luxurious as some others, it offers excellent value for its prime Makati location. Although the building may not initially impress, the experience truly exceeds expectations thanks to the attentive, five-star service from the staff. 2025 review, having stayed more than once. Read this if you book via agoda, where the properties are listed.||||First thing is, there are a number of properties owned by different people, all managed by one person. Each property differs in quality depending on how much the respective owner invests in it. Some are ok, some are disgusting and in serious need of upgrading. Highly recommended you read reviews of previous guests on individual properties, if considering a booking.||||Next. Location and price. Location is right next to Burgos Street in Poblacion. This area is a red light district. It is frequented by prostitutes, begging children and viagra street dealers. Other undesirables hang around on this street. It is a dangerous, seedy, dirty area.||||The prices of Bel Air Soho Suites are low and less than PHP 1000 a night. Nowhere else as far as I am aware is lower than that anyhere in Manila, not just Makati. So, in terms of budgeting it is good but take into consideration the above information and the following information about the building itself.||||The building is residential with 17 floors, two of which are car parks. It has a security guard team. The security at this place are not up to the job and are only interested in watching who comes and goes. Any security risk and they are useless. There is no desk phone number to contact the security in event of a problem e.g. an unwelcome guest or worse. ||||The building management allows prostitutes to rent apartments and use them. ||||I have stayed in three apartments in this building and my tripadvisory is to be very cautious, not only staying here but the vicinity it is located in.||||Low price, yes....

Basic accommodation. It's an old condo building, and that causes the majority of issues people have with the place: there's a faint smell coming from the bathroom drains, the room could use some renovation, the room and hallways look a bit shabby (despite being clean). Some reviews said there were roaches in their room, but there were none in mine. The bed was big and the sheet was clean but a bit worn. I did not try the wifi because I avoid public wifi while I can; I used my own data instead. The room was big enough for my kids to have a spot to run around in.

I may return simply because it's value for money considering the size of the room (old condo units tend to be bigger), the fact that there's a refrigerator and a microwave oven, and the location. There's nothing I love about the place, though, and will probably try another place that can match the value.

The only part I might miss is the lovely lady who checked us in (Rosemarie). We had to check in at her office, Her Highness properties, at the ground floor. Another review mentioned there's no air-conditioning in that office and indeed there wasn't, but we didn't have to stay there long. Their staff have to stay there in the heat all day though and that truly sucks.
