Andok’s — Restaurant in Makati

Save for rare instances when their lechon manok is slightly undercooked, Andok’s lechon manok and pork liempo don’t fail to satisfy—very tasty and juicy. Their liver-based sauce makes the chicken and liempo even better., although some might find it too sweet. We also tried their new product, Chicken Ala Bone, and it was delicious. I can’t really say it’s better than Reyes Barbecue’s Classic Boneless Chicken, but it can definitely hold its own. Whereas Reyes’ is more peanuty and sweeter, Andok’s Chicken Ala Bone is more on the umami side.

The crew of this branch are friendly, prompt and polite. The place itself is reasonably clean. The wait for our takeout was ok, well within the 15-minute mark.

I remember way back 2014, this branch only had a small air conditioned dining area and a very small open air dining area. Last night, I was surprised to see how this branch improved a lot! They already have a second floor, which used to be a lodging before (if my memory serves me right). The dining area on the second floor is wide enough to cater big group of diners. They also have an open air dining area wherein you can smoke. I really love the ambience here. It was not as crowded and noisy as it was before. We had Fried Chicken and Litson Manok here last night. The taste was expected. Nothing has changed. It was still delicious. Customer service needs improvement. They can serve well but it would be better if at least they can share their smiles while serving...

We ordered the Litson Baka, and it was definitely the highlight of our meal. The meat was incredibly tender and juicy. There was a 30-minute wait, which we were okay with, especially since they operate 24/7. It was a convenient spot for our late-night cravings.

We were there at around 3 AM, and while the place had little to no customers, it did take some time before someone came to clean our table.

In addition to the Litson Baka, we also tried the Dokito Sandwich, and it was great too.
