MPT (Makati Prime Tower) — Hotel in Makati

I was having my business trip/ family bonding with my mom, the place is quite far tom the airport that took me for almost 2 hours glad to have grab to take me there no extra charges, and soon I got into the place, the building is under restoration that I even doesn’t notice it’s the place already, awkward yet yes I arrived, quite old furnitures and nothing especial reception glad that the receptionist is friendly and nice guy, but the issue is they don’t consider that I come from a long international travel for 12 hours journey to the place they won’t allow me to take my check in without disposition even I was having my reservation online, and they know I come from overseas, instead they wanted me to withdraw and exchange my Bahraini Dinnar money to peso to pay my amount for stay, even I asked if i can just freshen up and pay later, we’ll SOP, I’m bit impressed impulsing it, well furthermore I paid the whole amount of 1 week stay in the hotel, and surprisingly they give me a room with bed and toilet only, and in my reservation it was clearly stated with balcony, bedroom kitchen toilet and dining, I just took a shower and bring my self don’t be to clarify if there giving me a right room, the. The receptionist told me on the booking I have is promotion , and I’m quite surprised on this answer cause for me if you place a room details you should be clearly state what the promotions are, then they decided to move me in a better room, and wallah it was fine, well so far apart from those things kitchen bit untidy and unorganise , gas stove is rusty ,television doenst work for 4 days, then they change to new one, Tellephone is not working, busted lights and dirty sinks, toilet need to improve better at least, glad that the daily housekeeper is trying there best to tide up the place, and aminites , bed is bit old and hard sofa is old and foam is not comfortable, but since I’m in a business trip it was fine cause most of the time I’m outside doing my business jobs and meeting people, in this case you might be able to try your luck but don’t pay the whole stay in one shot cause you might change your kind they have no money...

me and my office mates decided to stay in this hotel (overnight).the place wasnt that good i guess cause of the pirce.but the stuff and the OIC of the security was not so friendly. when i woke up the next day i couldnt find my phone and my friends and asked for help at the front desk. then they immidiately ask the manager and the OIC of the security to come to the lobby. the manager couldnt say anything but the OIC was so mean and kept on blaming one of my office mate. when i asked if there CCTV is working since it was right next to the room they said no. and asked me to blotter my office mate. since he was the last to leave. then me and my friends find a complain and reported it to the police and the OIC kept on insisting that it was our office mate and we had to ask him to come to the hotel. as per my office mate he came back cause he left something and he was informed that the front desk would be able to open the door for him. after several argument with the OIC then he scared my office mate buy saying that the CCTV was working. we asked what are the requirements for us to watch it. all he said was wee need a police with us. me and my friend immidiately when to the police station and ask the police to come with us. then when we got to the hotel they he said that we cannot watch it since the admin is close and we need to feel out some papers. we asked him why didnt he tell us when we asked. and he said we didnt ask and he thought that we were leaveing we asked why would you think that when you saw us at the lobby for more than 5hrs. every time that we talked with the OIC he kept on saying different thing which mad us so mad. and at the end of the day we couldn't was the footage and had to go home.

i was planing to stay at this hotel for a month but after what happen.

IM NEVER EVER GOING TO THAT PLACE OR RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO THIS HOTEL.

It was not just the place that was worst, EVERYTHING IN IT WAS...

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. First of all the hygiene is terrible. I really want to ask the people who gave 5 point if they've really never seen a cockroach here. Take a minute to check the stairs or CR in the lobby before booking the hotel. REALLY. It's full of cockroaches and rats because the owner of the building hasn't sanitized the whole place. If you go out into the hallway and go to the place where the old pool used to be, you will see filth all over the place because they didn't sanitize it. You will see the occasional rat poop.

You won't be able to get a parcel here. I believe this is the only hotel where security guards are not allowed to accept packages. The guard says that the hotel owner has instructed that no couriers should be accepted by the guard or the front desk. That doesn't mean the courier can't even enter the hotel.

The only thing you get here is a place close to Poblacion. I'd rather you try the other hotels next door like I'M Hotel, they offer much better hygiene and convenience.
