Spectacular View. Located at 32nd floor, City Garden Grand Hotel, Makati Avenue corner Kalayaan Avenue, Poblacion, Makati City. Open from Monday to Sunday,10am to 2am . Best time to visit is from 4:00pm onwards to enjoy the beautiful sunset and the City lights. Tried their Japanese-Korean Buffet that offers only during Monday to Saturday from 6:00pm to 10:00pm,Php800.00 net, valid until November 30,2018. DealGrocer offers a discounted price for only Php640.00 instead of Php800.00, this is great value for money. Their Food have a limited variety to offer compared to other buffet I have been to, they only serve service water. Over-all it's a great experience with a very romantic ambiance and stunning view while enjoying your meal. December 11,2018 We decided to Celebrate our friends Birthday here and availed their buffer for 800.00 per pax . We are disappointed with their buffet, they don't even refill the foods and desserts, I asked their Chef if they will refill the foods and answered me that He already asked someone to refill it. It took about 10-15minutes waiting time before they fill-in those empty platter in the dessert area. I got some cakes, pineapples and watermelons, the pineapple is just fine but when I tasted the watermelon-it's disgusting and I have to spit and my friend can attest to this because He tried their watermelons too. NO TO THEIR BUFFET AGAIN.

Despite my apparent fear of heights, I decided to go check out the bar and resto located at the top of the 32nd floor of City Garden Grand Hotel located along Kalayaan Avenue, Makati. I was received by a female receptionist, who is very warm and friendly. She directed me on the side table overlooking the Makati skyline but due to my acrophobia (fear of heights), I asked to be seated far from the side of the hotel. I ordered a vegetarian dinner of Vegetable Curry with Salad on the side, as I'm already tired of eating meat the whole week. The food was excellent, the curry is a mixture of carrots, potatoes, string beans, chickpeas, coconut milk - curry sauce and crispy fried tofu. I enjoyed it immensely. The resto manager asked me if I enjoyed my meal and if I still need something, which I greatly appreciated. Of course, the view of the Makati skyline is the attraction of this bar, which despite my phobia, really blew me away in terms of its beauty and marvel. I had an awesome, unique experience at Firefly Rooftop bar. Excellent view, superb food, and awesome customer service from the staff. Keep up the good work. Rating: 5 stars.

I will never dine in this restaurant ever again. We found an insect both in one of our drinks and our food. We were told that it’s only an isolated case and it’s because it’s an open area. But the insect was literally at the bottom of the plate. They offered a refund but that still doesn’t make it okay. I wasn’t gonna leave a review but I’m now in the ER due to food poisoning. Worst experience ever! Their tables are not cleaned well, they’re very sticky and unsanitized. Their “cleaned and prepped” tables have rice and other things like; sauce and crumbs. We moved tables and it’s still the same, sticky and there’s still leftover food and the table is also broken so it’s unstable and not safe. They close at 2am. When we left at 1:43am they’re already “cleaning” tables by pouring soapy water on them. PLEASE NOTE, there are still people eating. Very inconsiderate and disgusting. Save yourself some time and avoid this place. This is probably the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to, it’s better to eat somewhere else. There are tons of great places in Poblacion. Never again!! And stop buying your reviews @Firefly Roofdeck Your staff was not accommodating at all. Your front desk clerk can’t even be bothered to be polite, has an attitude in her tone and didn’t address us properly. Did not refer to us politely, no “ma’am” at all. Your waiter “cleaned” our table, made my friend stand up so he “can clean the table better” and put his cleaning supplies on my friend’s seat. Place - 0/5 You’d think nothing can go wrong in a roofdeck. How hard could it possibly be to make a place look good with city lights? I wonder how you guys messed that up. Food - 0/5 Not good at all, seriously. Buti nalang we were hungry kaya hindi totally nasayang yung ibang food. You know the saying that goes “Masarap lahat pag gutom ka” Dito kahit gutom ka alam mo hindi masarap. Service - 0!!! Grabe, do I need to say more? Ang bastos. And please, try using their parking area (inside) and see for yourselves. Halatang pinilit niyo yung parking area niyo, your ramps and curves are so tight, it’s such a hassle.

I rarely leave reviews, but definitely making an effort for this one! Spent PHP 7000 for their NYE buffet (2 pax) only to be disappointed by the limited food choices, cold food, and non-inclusion of drinks in the package. Food were placed on top of induction stoves but most weren't even turned on. Not including pastillas, crinkles, fruit platter and bread pudding, the desert probably consisted of just leche flan, a choco log cake (which was mostly gone by 8 PM or so). I probably should've went to a bakery instead. Champagne was served at the end (1 glass each) but no one even offered for refills or anything, even though there were like 2-3 unopened bottles. Basically, everyone just got 1 round of champagne when the clock struck 12 and that's it. You're literally paying for just the view, which honestly wasn't that spectacular either. Prepare to be amazed by huge clouds of powder instead of firework displays. (We were seated at the topmost floor of the roof deck area, but unfortunately most of the fireworks were a few floors lower. Not entirely their fault, but heads up either way.) Kudos to their very responsive social media manager, I was definitely convinced by their social media post, the image and his responsiveness when I inquired. Still, I was sorely disappointed with the experience. I was honestly expecting more for the price for PHP 3500 per person. Definitely not recommending for next NYE to anyone.

Firefly Roofdeck Restaurant in Makati is a rooftop spot with a mixed vibe due to its location in a red-light district. The atmosphere can feel a bit like a meet-and-greet event that could escalate to more, given the crowd, but the restaurant itself tries to maintain a classy and upscale feel. The view of Makati’s skyline, especially on a clear Friday night, is definitely one of its strong points. We ordered pancit canton, adobo, margherita pizza, and tokwa’t baboy. While the food was decent, it wasn’t particularly outstanding. One minor inconvenience was that the dishes were served at different times, which disrupted the flow of our meal. Despite the bustling environment, which is typical for a rooftop setting, the ambiance was lively, though it leaned toward the noisy side. On the positive side, the staff were very attentive and accommodating. Even though we arrived late at night, there was a line, but the wait time was short—around 15 minutes. The staff made sure we were comfortable during the wait and continued to provide excellent service throughout our meal. Overall, Firefly Roofdeck is a place worth visiting for its scenic view and attentive service. The food and atmosphere, while pleasant, didn’t quite impress enough for a return visit, but it’s certainly a spot to consider for a one-time experience.

Updated June 1, 2018 We went here to chill. We ordered Pasta De Crema Con Trufa, Papas Fritas, Crispy Crablets, Mojito Classico, Fresh Watermelon Juice and Ripe Mango Juice. Pasta De Crema Con Trufa was too bland. Crispy Crablets was tasteless and too pricey for its quality. The crablets were big. No fun eating this. Papas Fritas taste was somehow acceptable. Our drinks were too expensive for their taste. My goodness! The mango and watermelon juice tasted like water. We were eager to know how many drops of fruit juice did they put in each glass. Mojito Classico tasted like a juice. Customer service was just fine. We're currently enjoying the relaxing ambience of this place while waiting for the bar to close. July 11, 2017 So far, this is the best roofdeck bar for me. I had the best view of Makati Skyline from the top while enjoying my Hot Lips and Hotdog. 😉 They had lots of choices for drinks and grilled foods. This is just a bar to chill and relax. No party party! 😊 Great customer service as the one in-charge of the area that time was so attentive and approachable. Fast service as well! You can roam around the pool area if you want. You can see the swimming pool of I'M hotel from the top too (Another nice view)! 😉
