I will never dine in this restaurant ever again. We found an insect both in one of our drinks and our food. We were told that it’s only an isolated case and it’s because it’s an open area. But the insect was literally at the bottom of the plate. They offered a refund but that still doesn’t make it okay. I wasn’t gonna leave a review but I’m now in the ER due to food poisoning. Worst experience ever!

Their tables are not cleaned well, they’re very sticky and unsanitized. Their “cleaned and prepped” tables have rice and other things like; sauce and crumbs. We moved tables and it’s still the same, sticky and there’s still leftover food and the table is also broken so it’s unstable and not safe.

They close at 2am. When we left at 1:43am they’re already “cleaning” tables by pouring soapy water on them. PLEASE NOTE, there are still people eating. Very inconsiderate and disgusting. Save yourself some time and avoid this place. This is probably the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to, it’s better to eat somewhere else. There are tons of great places in Poblacion. Never again!! Your staff was not accommodating at all. Your front desk clerk can’t even be bothered to be polite, has an attitude in her tone and didn’t address us properly. Did not refer to us politely, no “ma’am” at all. Your waiter “cleaned” our table, made my friend stand up so he “can clean the table better” and put his cleaning supplies on my friend’s seat. Ang bastos.

Nung pinapalinis namin table basta dampot lang ng kanin, kinamay lang at walang cloth. Pati pag serve ng food wala sa proper etiquette, kinakamay lang yung spoon/fork, yung daliri ng waiter nakadikit na sa food, hindi inaarrange ng maayos mga plate pag serve.

Place - 0/5 You’d think nothing can go wrong in a roofdeck. How hard could it possibly be to make a place look good with city lights? I wonder how you guys messed that up.

Food - 0/5 Not good at all, seriously. Buti nalang we were hungry kaya hindi totally nasayang yung ibang food. You know the saying that goes “Masarap lahat pag gutom ka” Dito kahit gutom ka alam mo hindi masarap.

Service - 0!!! Grabe, do I need to say more? Ang bastos.

And please, try using their parking area (inside) and see for yourselves. Halatang pinilit niyo yung parking area niyo, your ramps and curves are so tight, it’s...

I would like to point out that I usually never leave reviews !

We went to FireFly twice, the first time everything went very well, the view and the place is sublime.

The second time was a disaster. We are a group of 7 including 1 small kid (5 yo). We arrived around 10:35 p.m., the waiter cleaned the table in front of us with a paper napkin without even using a sponge and cleaning product, we had to ask him to clean the table again. The waiter gave us only two menus for 7 people.

I would like to point out that the restaurant room was only 40% full when our order was taken at 10:50 p.m. (according to the waiter 11:10 p.m.). We order cocktails, fruit juice and a hot chocolate for starter then two Filipino dishes (it is written that each dish can be shared by 2 or 4 people) We also ask for an ashtray (we still waiting for), between we ask for information about the wine, in particular whether the red wine is stored in the fridge or not. Time passes and the waiters have forgotten us, it is 11:35 p.m. and no one is taking care of us anymore, we have to call the waiters several times, in the end a waiter tells us that the red wine is stored in the fridge (which horror).

Time still passes and I call a waiter to ask what's going on, where are our drinks for the aperitif ? We don't want to enjoy sweet drinks at the same time as salty food, the waiter tells us that he is giving our order priority then comes back and tells me in an arrogant tone "look, your order was taken ago 20 minutes!”, which is false.

The aperitifs arrive except the hot chocolate, obviously the food is served 5 minutes after the starter drinks.... the principle of the aperitif is to wait for the dishes.

Hot chocolate is served right in the middle of the meal. To talk about the meal, it was average and above all, these are dishes for 2 people MAXIMUM !!!!

We asked for water 3 times, the water was brought at the very end of the meal.

We ask for the bill twice. It’s 12:40 a.m. with a toddler and two people working the next day at 8 a.m.

I've been staying at the city grand garden hotel for about 3 years when I come to the Philippines but in the 1st years I didn't eat at the rooftop restaurant so when I was there last year I was very disappointed at the service and quality of the food and I complained they tred to offer me things but it was about compensation it's about quality of food and service then I wasn't going to stay at the hotel this time because of last time but I did because I like the rooms and they are always clean and if there's a problem it's taken care now we decide to go and have breakfast with .you partner we sat down together we ordered together people sat down and did there orders my partner got hers but then the ones who ordered after me got there food before me I asked for the manager and he come over and he tried to smoth things over and I wasn't happy with the service at all I said did me and my partner come to have breakfast together he just looked at me I said we did and we ordered our food before the other two tables were seated he said he was so sorry well sorry don't cop the mustard it's the service is very bad so paid bill as I'm asking for a cheap deal at all so spoke with staff at the hotel to find out if the are the same company or it's two different companies was told it was two different companies so told them I wasn't happy with the way the service was they informed me that it wouldn't happen again so two days later I said to my partner we will give it other go well what a sh..t show my partner ordered sinigang pork and I ordered spaghetti bolanase she was told it will take 25 minutes for hers she was fine with that but asked if they can be bought out together she was told we always bring out together [ well that's bullshit] we waited 25 mins and they both come out she was happy with hers but mine was cold and it would have been the worst I've ever had I will never order anything for the restaurant ever again the street food down the road is 100% better then the food in...
