People come back here because of the meat. It's the only redeeming quality this restaurant have. Their noodles is really good, especially if paired with their samgyupsal. Galbisal was as always exceptional, and their makchang tastes clean if you know what I mean.
I've been coming here multiple times and it completely changed over time, and the price inflated. Service used to be kind to us, but the last visit left a sour memory leaving us with the conclusion that we might not come back here anymore.
We already had our food served on our table (middle area well ventilated), when suddenly the waiter asked if we could move to another table (corner area by the door and its hot there) so that the foreigners waiting outside could sit where we were (the tables were the same size with the same amount of chairs). They must be regulars? Or just special treatment towards foreigners..
My friend opposed to the idea because it was rude (we had food on the table already) and after that, the waiters were throwing a tantrum. Usually they grill the meat for all of the customers but they didn't grill ours anymore at first. When we started to eat slowly, that was when they decided to cook the rest of our meat on the last batch so we could eat faster and go. We had to follow up our orders multiple times. They didn't want us to have any additional orders anymore. Instead of placing the plates nicely on the table, they kinda throw it to the table like "here you go pft" attitude. I've never felt so uncomfortable and unsafe in a restaurant before.
Every other table, the first thing they do is serve clean cups with water pitcher. Whislt, our table was only served cups that had ashes inside. They didnt give us any water. Every table were foreigners and we were the only Filipinos. We were still nice to them after that.. but they were rude to us... Meanwhile the foreigners in other tables were shouting at them and giving orders, and they were smiling at them and still being kind to them. What was that about??
We usually tip big when we eat here, and even after that we still left a tip.. We left as soon as we could and we completely forgot one of our belongings. Good thing, one of the waiters ran out and kept up with us to return the bag.
Anyway.
Just go here...
Read moreI don’t understand why this place is a thing.
Their meat serving is so small and terribly overpriced. For example, you get a measly 6 small pieces of beef for almost 700 pesos! That’s like equivalent to the unlimited price of one person in other kbqqs with better tasting meat and bigger portions per serving.
I went to this place with an open mind and I really thought that maybe the quality of the meat will more than justify the price. HA! Not even by a long shot. Service is slow and bad, food took too long to arrive and I wonder why coz the tables they are serving are so small. The only redeeming part of the service is the servers would sometimes cut and cook the meat for you.
Atmosphere, don’t bother the only atmosphere is the smoke from the grills because the exhausts are barely exhausting. Very disappointed.
Note: they ONLY accept CASH, so be sure to bring some if you dare eat at this place. Just don’t expect to be fully satisfied, unless you’re willing to spend a LOT just to order more meat. Then again, I don’t even think...

Located in Poblacion, Makati it is not too different from other Korean restaurants in the area. No sanitary complaints, but the ambiance could definitely be improved for a better dining experience.
Food reviewers were not wrong when they said meat quality was very good. Maybe because the restaurant is not “unli”. Among the items we ordered (samgyupsal, woosamgyup, galbisal) it was the galbisal that won us over with its beautiful marbling.
The restaurant uses a charcoal grill giving the meat an added smokiness. Our kind server patiently grilled the meats for us and was polite in answering some of our questions.
I would love for the side dishes to be improved (nothing stood out, tasted ordinary) but will definitely be back for more of...
