Clean and airy, not overcrowded like many of the Station 3 resorts. It offers better quality and comfort compared to other places within the same price range. It has been renovated in recent years, and it's a pity that most of the photos found online are old / pre-renovation. These days, Marzon has a more modern, upscale, minimalist aesthetic.
Amenities are basic but sufficient and comfortable - maybe even moderately luxurious (e.g., the larger rooms are like loft apartments with full kitchens). Spacious rooms, cozy beds. AC. Large telly with cable. Hot/cold shower, rain shower head. I love how the bathroom has a back door that leads to a private "outdoor" space (tiled and walled but open to the sky) where you can hang your wet swimwear right after you've taken it off.
Towels, soap and shampoo provided. Complimentary breakfast served in your room.
The wi-fi is strong and stable, great for remote work or online meetings (yep, I tried it). There's a table and seating inside the room as well as outside.
The resort is situated in the far end of Station 3, where it's much quieter and cleaner. It's far away from the hawkers and the party-goers and the noisy families with screaming kids. There are also less vendors and less people pushing water activities in these parts. There are nice restos and bars nearby, but none of the obnoxiously loud music. On the downside, you'd need to take a very long walk if you feel like sampling the establishments of Station 1 or 2.
The staff are very friendly, pleasant, and accommodating. They let us check in without prior reservations (since we transferred from another resort) and they made sure our needs were met. They also have a porter, so you won't have to lug your baggage through the beach.
I loved this place. Will...

Read moredecent rooms and decent free breakfast considering the affordable price and beachfront access.. I booked a superior room with garden view.. the room is cozy and has basic amenities.. the cr feels kind of old but it does the job.. i love the concept of the outside drying area accessible from the bathroom though I wish the floor was more even or easier to walk on.
there’s a common ref and water dispenser in the reception area which is a plus.
the garden has cozy lounge chairs to relax on. the entire resort is very relaxing and laid back.
my parents stayed in their ocean view premier rooms and loved the aesthetic vibes of those rooms.
overall, we enjoyed our stay and will consider this resort when we get back.
just take note that you have to walk from the nearest trike drop off. this can be a bit challenging when you have luggages but the hotel is willing to help....
