AJ and the crew at Ink Static made sure my girlfriend and my younger sister were very comfortable with our decisions. They understand that having permanent ink on your body is a commitment that should be thought through over and over again and the stylist was able to provide us multiple scenarios. My sister and I were first time tattoo clients and they mentioned advice like “the ink will spread, it would be better if you enlarge the size” or even “I added highlighter around the edges so the colour would pop”. Not to mention provided us with waters and made sure we were comfortable throughout the experience. The stylist also mentioned he’s won lots of competitions and regularly joins these in a hopes of winning to validate his success which if you’re able to grab his instagram, is very evident from a lot of the work he has up there. Would recommend going to these guys over and over again and will most likely be back as they are efficient, answer all your questions, ensure you are comfortable with the experience and your decision, friendly and very very competitive in their prices. Had a great experience with Ae Jay. He was accommodating, he understood and helped me when I said that I have a pretty low pain tolerance.

I asked for a touch up and 3 small tattoos and they're all great, especially the line work on one of the tattoos that needed a perfect circle. He has a light touch so it doesn't hurt as much, he works quick but the quality doesn't suffer for it. He can basically do any art style, from line art to tribal to realistic detailed tattoos. The studio was clean, all the needles used are new, and his experience really speaks for itself.

Special shout out to his crew, Kaye and Dan, for being friendly and helpful as well, and for his friend Raymond, who introduced me to Ae Jay in the first place.

I think it's worth the visit, and whenever I end up in Boracay again I'll definitely stop...

they were recommended by our scuba diving instructor and my cousin and i were only supposed to inquire about the price but the artists really got to convince us to get it done right then and there 😆 it was my cousin's first time to get a tattoo while it's my 2nd. no regrets though! loved the tat done on me, artist (AJ) was so patient with me especially when we were talking about the placement of my fairy lol, i think we changed for 3-4 times before i decided on the one i liked best. oh and i even fell asleep during the session, that's how good the artist was 😭😆 would really recommend this studio, the studio was small but you can tell it was clean and artist also shows that the needle was sealed and new! prices were reasonable as well and would definitely consider getting another piece from them once i come back...
