BBB Alabang Northgate (Big Better Burgers) & Moonleaf Alabang — Restaurant in Muntinlupa

There was a burger joint from the 90's called "Hotshots" which my friends and I frequented. The flavor of the BBB patties reminds me of them. And that's probably why I gave them a 5 star rating as nostalgia played a big part.

This place used to have a couple more branches around the south area, but had to shut down mostly due to the pandemic, this branch included. After life started to normalize they re-opened this OG branch with a more compact menu as compared to before. It's not that easy to find and parking is a few hundred meters away.

I just love the charbroiled flavor of the meat, you rarely taste this from the other gourmet burgers around town. They have a lot of variants to choose from but I usually just stick to the basic ones, with double patties of course hehe. Really satisfying. The fries and onion rings are basic, nothing really out of the ordinary. Seating is very tight and limited inside, but they do have an al fresco area for bigger groups. Service is what you would expect from a self-ordering joint, staff was quite friendly.

Overall, if you're just after the burger then this is a place you must try. Nothing fancy about them, just good ole...

We've been eating here for a long time and generally had good experience until tonight. I specifically asked for "medium well" patties, and the girl taking my order never acknowledged it. I repeated it FIVE TIMES, until she finally gave me a nod, but never wrote it down or told the cook. Later the burgers that they gave us was raw inside. When i complained they said that i asked for medium rare. Now my stomach doesn't feel so well. Worst experience with a burger joint. Please pick...

Been here 3 times. First 2 was okay. Don't get the Bacon BBQ Burger. It is drowned in the bbq sauce. The last time was absolutely horrid service. Had ordered before a couple of groups and their food came out before mine. Cashier looked like and acted like she was having a bad day or else she was prejudiced against foreigners.
