Food is almost as good as what they served during their first year of operation but service is really slow. Our waiter tried to keep up with our table for 12. The frustrating part is the food is not served simultaneously or quickly one after another. So you end up with all viand or rice and noodles. To add to that you se their supervisor waiters seemingly supervising but not really assisting on the flow of food from kitchen to table. Some of the female staff who seem to be handling reception and drinks just leave after they have seated you and served your drinks. Regardless of whether the waiter can address all your needs efficiently or not.
One more thing are the hotel comfort rooms servicing Phoenix court and the Japanese restaurant next door. They were simply filthy. It's partly the customers fault that they have unsanitary habits, but it is the establishment's duty to keep their...
Read moreWe recently tried the "eat-all-you-can" offering at Phoenix Court in Bellevue. Overall, I would rate the food as average at best. While the flavors were decent, they did not stand out compared to other Chinese restaurants. Our group was seated in their private room, which features a massive round table that can accommodate up to 30 people. The setup looks grand in photos, and having everyone seated together certainly creates an impressive visual. However, when it comes to practicality during meals, this arrangement posed some challenges. The large lazy Susan in the center took considerable time to rotate, making it inconvenient to access dishes quickly. If I were to bring such a large group back to this restaurant, I would opt for two or three smaller round tables instead. This would improve accessibility to food and enhance the overall...
Read moreWe had an impromptu visit here when we were craving for chinese on the way to Manila.
During our first visit, the waitress recommended their best seller E-FU Noodles. We also tried their strawberry iced tea, sweet and sour pork, deep fried salmon wasabi rolls, steamed shrimp dimsum, coconut pudding and mango sago. We left feeling stuffed with left overs to bring home. Food was good although I think the place could use a little touching up. It felt outdated. The waitress who served us, Miss Tin, was incredibly professional, accommodating, sweet, and kind.
I think we'll try this place again and do the dimsum buffet.
The photos below were already touched. We took a couple of bites before remembering to take photos for review. P.S - I don't know what they do with those nuts but the complimentary appetizers...
