Cattleya resort and restaurant — Hotel in Panglao

I am still at the hotel currently writing this review, its a new hotel so I didn’t expect much but this is the worst, I don’t think they trained their staff as all of them are really rude, maybe because we speak the same dialect but nonetheless they need training. The 1st day, the receptionist was fine, our room was late as there were people still checking out, we have 4 rooms and only 1 is ready, mind you we got to the hotel past 2 as we were in a tour. All the tvs in our 4 rooms can’t be used cause all are in chinese, I kindly asked the staff to change it for us but apparently they can’t do so. I am traveling with 3 senior citizens and kids so tv is really important when we are at a hotel but I am fine with it as they can’t do anything. Today we ordered breakfast and the staff was complaining why we didn’t order ahead of time, how would we know when no one told us to do so, and the receptionist said bfast opens at 7 but apparently its 7:30. The staffs are always in their phone, yesterday I asked the staff to call a tricycle for us cause there’s no shuttle available in the hotel, she did but she was annoyed cause she had to pause her movie. This is a very good place to stay in Panglao! Rooms are spacious, without any smell. Clean AC, nets on windows from mosquitoes, very clean inside and outside. Good quality cotton linens, veeeeery comfortable mattress, 2 types of best quality pillows, great quality new towels. Room was beautifully decorated. Great highest speed wi-fi connection (best we ever had in Philippines). Beautiful clean swimming pool. Clean drinking water provided. Safe place for your stay. The place is very quite. You cant hear any traffic from the main road. I like the fact that you can use the sunbeds to get some tan next to your room if you dont wanna go all the way to the beach.

The only incovenient thing is that if you are walking back from the main road at night, theres alot of dogs around the dirt track that leads to the property. Now myself i did not had any problem with the dogs. They seem quite friendly but can be intimidating for a lone woman probably.
