Boholala — Restaurant in Panglao

Not sure how this place has good reviews, but it definitely wasn’t it. Came during dinner hours and the place was pretty much empty. Now I get why. I still gave it a chance, and honestly the food was just bad. The beef kaldereta was so unpleasant I couldn’t even finish one bite.

The owner (seems to be Korean) didn’t greet anyone, didn’t care, didn’t even look up. I’ve never seen a restaurant owner who looked this uninterested in having customers. Prices are not that cheap, and they only take cash.

Overall, it was a waste of money. Definitely won’t be...

Sitting there for 40 minutes without our drinks and food, very poor service and air, the barbecue smoking is a fulling the restaurant, all the stuff is busy with counting the bills but nobody pay any attention to the guest. If you want some water, you will need to do it by yourself, but when you are leaving, they will come right towards to you and get the money. Not recommended. The Pork is horrible, If this pig knew it was going to taste like this, it would be so angry that it would come...

Excellent Filipino food in Panglao. The staff are so friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in. I had the meat skewers, garlic rice and lumpia and everything was delicious and would highly recommend! The rest of the menu looks great so will be coming back to try some more before I leave. You should definitely come here if you're in Panglao ✨️

Only thing to note is the portion of Lumpia is huge, would be great if they offered a half portion for those dining alone as I couldn't...
