Mingche — Hotel in Panglao

I recently stayed at Mingche Apartment and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality. The owners were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything you need, making the stay feel truly welcoming and comfortable. The room was very nice, clean, and had access to a private bathroom. While there was no hot water in my room, there is a shared shower with hot water available just outside the room. In my opinion, it’s a great solution—if you don’t mind a cold shower, you don’t need to pay more(for bigger apartment with hot shower), but if you prefer a hot shower, it’s available nearby. Mingche Apartment provides everything you’ll need—drinking water, a kettle with coffee and tea, and even a small shop where you can purchase basic items and pay at the reception. There is also free parking for scooters, which is convenient if needed. The only downside is that the road leading to the apartment is a bit bumpy, so be careful if you’re driving. Best experience in Philippines so far. The owners are extremely kind and communication is amazing, be it Bisaya or English, always smiling and ready to help. They are very flexible. The place is so relaxing and peaceful, it is also well maintained with lovely flowers and trees which get a lot of attention. Service there is just awesome. Place is located away from the busy main road so you will sleep in peace. Nobody is ever disturbing you here. Resort is protected with the wall all around and it's very safe to stay here. We always had great time and we keep returning. All the stuff is very friendly and kind. Serve yourself some coffee or tea and enjoy some fresh fruits from the garden. They will do anything to make your day perfect. A new shop "happy shop" just opened nearby, within 5min walking distance, which can supply 99% of your needs. Beautiful place to stay, can not recommend enough. Hosts are very friendly and arranged a tuktuk to pick us up at the airport and also gave us amazing prices for tours which made it more affordable to book privately through them and not have to join a group tour.

The room was very clean and the AC was strong enough to make the room too cold for me which is rare. The hotel also provides instant coffee and milk everyday which was nice. They have a mini shop if you want to buy food / drinks as well. Only downside is the shower in the room is cold water and the “hot” shower outside is more so lukewarm at best. Still 100% worth it though. There’s also some friendly goats and cats nearby the hotel.
