The traditional bánh mì was a standout — crispy, flaky, and packed with nostalgic, authentic flavors that reminded me of my childhood. The bánh cuốn was also excellent, cooked to perfection. However, the nước mắm fell short; it lacked the punch I was expecting, which slightly affected the overall authenticity — though the dish was still tasty.
After that positive experience, I decided to visit the restaurant in person. It’s located in the vibrant, modern Parqal Mall. The interior was clean and inviting. Unfortunately, the service was a major letdown. The restaurant was clearly understaffed, with no host or hostess at the entrance. When I arrived, there was already a couple waiting. I went inside hoping someone would take down my name and give an estimated wait time — but no one acknowledged us. We were left standing outside with no communication. After about 10 minutes, I gave up and left. By then, not only was the original couple still waiting, but three or four more families had joined, all standing around with no clear system in place.
The food is worth trying — just not in person. Unless they seriously improve their staffing and guest management, I strongly recommend ordering takeout instead...
