Parking within building. Set up is typical of a fine dining restaurant with tons of eagle eyed waiters ready to assist. Orders are taken by Chinese speaking Manager and order slips in Chinese. On a Saturday where the ballroom (good for 1800pax) was fully occupied, our orders in the other smaller function rooms arrived quickly, too. Waiters were attentive but not obstrusive, ready to replace plates and provide warm jasmine tea pot. In my opinion, this is expected from a fine dining place.

Wanted to know if they maintained their food quality vs my high school days jaunt in their GH branch. Ordered for our 5 pax: 8 treasures soup (spinach seafood), ginger chicken seafood clay pot, baby pakchoy with goji, prawn hot salad, Chinese beef tenderloin, East Ocean fried rice, hakaw, mango pudding, lychee cocktail, and mango roll. Small size per menu is good for 3-5 people. Soup was superb and flavorful though must be eaten quickly. Or else, becomes a thin soup. The Chinese Tenderloin was worth fighting over for. Very tender and sauce was perfect. The fried rice was full of seafood bits and not too oily.

The experience left us wanting to go back the following day but had to contend with just doing...

one of my favorite place to eat when in Manila “BUT” recently I got pretty disappointed with their food. presentation and service went from excellent to terrible. I Booked a private room with 4 big tables for my husband birthday. when we got there the room wasn’t ready, servers are nowhere to be found, the room was under a wrong name. Food was served extremely slow! We have to ask several times before they start bringing in food and water! Presentation wasn’t great, some food was over cooked. rice was served late (guests are eating the food without rice.) everything was served late and with two missing orders in one of the tables. Everything was set and ordered few days ahead so I wasn’t expecting that this will turn into a big mess which left me disappointed. Servers are somehow nice but the manager is rude. He never showed up in our room to ask or check if everything is okay (I see him walking in and out the other room checking if their food and if everything is complete). I feel embarrassed that my guests wasn’t able to enjoy the food which also ruined the mood of the celebration. With all this and with the price they charge me I won’t be using this restaurant on any kind of...

The atmosphere and food looks high end authentic Cantonese estetic with some fusion of the local ingiridients. The price is at par with its ambiance. The price to food ration is 7/10, as I find the Grouper/Lapu Lapu bit pricey that day than usual; the pecking duck dopes not have enough of its wrappers in which we usually get almost unlimited to some we ate before; And one of the waiters just changed my plate without asking for permission(minor occurence, nothing a short orientation will not fix). Now for the good points, the pickled kimchi like appetizer is a good way to start the meal; The Grouper/Lapu Lapu taste very fresh and the sauce is unlike other restos which is less salty; The Fish Bladder dish, where I can't find in any other Chinese restos in Metro Manila, is very good with its nutty savory taste; The sparerib is something that I would go back again; And the quality of ingridients is very good. Choices of drinks needs to be bit...

Expensive but delicious — the type of place I’d be excited to be invited to for a free meal but not somewhere I’d return to on my own. We had some dimsum (the lechon kawali oh my), chicken bamboo soup, lobster noodles, lobster in garlic, steamed fish, sweet and sour pork (usually not a fan but wow I couldn’t stop myself from reaching for seconds), sautéed beef, fried rice (yesss), and buchi. I thoroughly enjoyed each dish. I wish I actually had a second stomach for this meal. Nothing about this place is mid. The food, the service, the grand stand alone building. I’ll definitely be returning. But only if my rich uncle is paying.
