I’ve eaten here a couple of times and usually the staff are very accommodating. The moment you sit down, you are handed the menu and are given proper service. For some reason tonight, when I sat down, at approximately 9:40pm, no menu—the staff (which are multiple people) paid no attention and the one person who did told me to wait. When I was finally greeted and asked if I ordered, I told them no because for the last 10-15 mins I wasn’t even given a menu. How would I have ordered? The response was that the menu was at the cashier counter and that their last order would be soon and the staff promptly left with the menu without taking my order again. Once again, I have never had to go to counter for the menu, so their response was quite a shock. Anyways, I was really craving Jeongwon and still love the food, but this service was such a disappointment. Update, I talked to the people at the counter, their response: - the two floor staff are in training and aren’t used to closing time so they missed me (Now that is understandable but if that’s the case, shouldn’t there be another floor staff that’s more experienced to deal with the skills they still lack?) - the person who talked back to me is in operations and is in charge of cleaning (This doesn’t excuse the way she talked back to me, even if you’re the operations in whatever, if you’re customer facing, make sure to respect everyone.) - they assumed that I finished because I didn’t have a menu and my table was clean, they apparently didn’t notice me sit down (When I made eye contact multiple times with the floor staff) and apparently they take the menus and clean the tables at around the time I came in. (Now my problem with this is, if that’s the case then they would know that I was there if they took the menu and cleaned the table for me) I’m glad that they took my criticism well in the counter, and hopefully the service and staff training improves. But this easily could’ve been prevented if their staff were attentive and respectful. I really like the food here, so I don’t want this to deter me from dining and that’s why I’m writing this review and that’s why I brought it up before I left. Hopefully the next time I dine in, I’ll have a better experience.

Nope. Just, nope. Stay away. We ate here before like several months ago and tried their bingsu and chicken and it was an okay, 4-5/10, experience so we decided to try it again today. Habanero was full anyway so might as well try something new. We ordered bingsu as appetizer (asked it to be served first), snow parmesan chicken, soup, and 2 rice. We ordered 1250pm. By 115pm we were following up bec even the bingsu wasnt served. By 125pm, after 3 more follow ups, they served the bingsu. It was small and tasted okay. By 131pm, we've finished the bingsu and were dead hungry, but they only managed to serve the soup and the 2 cups of rice we ordered. By 145pm we demanded for the bill and asked that they just cancel the chicken order because it's already been an hour (one server, on our seventh follow up around this time even tried to tell us off by saying there food really has a waiting time of 20 minutes. IT HAS BEEN AN HOUR -_-). And we were on a good mood, they couldve told us how long we still have to wait but they never did. Only excuses like "palabas na po" and " inaayos na po" x 100. Anyway, the chicken finally came and it was, well, not good. It was wet, overcooked, and the coating was way too oily on some parts, with much of the "parmesan / cheese" overpowered and you cant really taste it. So it's just an oily chicken. We proceeded to just ask for containers and packed the food ourselves, paid, and left. We should have just waited for a table in Habanero or literally any other food place. Hay. So nope, just nope.

I decided to date myself that night and discovered this place behind Cubao Expo. My comfort food is korean dishes and this did not disappoint. Menu pa lang nila, appetizing na haha! Very nice and madaling intindihin ang design ng menu nila, very aesthetic haha! I liked everything I ordered, the Sundubujjigae set and the Strawberry Bingsu. I finished the soup and the sides, just not the rice cause it's a lot, but for those na rice is life, sulit to! 😊 Super sarap din ng Strawberry Bingsu nila, it has strawberry preserves along with the vanilla shaved ice and vanilla ice cream. 😋👌 Their staff are also very nice and accommodating, they will ask you to use a bell to get their attention as the place is big and has an indoor and outdoor area. Also note that they only accept cash, so if you'd like to visit and try a lot on their menu, remember to bring enough cash with you. I wasnt able to try their other drinks cause I was short on cash and there was no ATM nearby. So now I have a reason to come back. 😜 After visiting Art in Island, this is definitely a must visit as well. 😊
